Very strong I picked up a wobble and a socket with no problem
I had a socket caught between the body of my vehicle and I use the clause a different magnet, then pin magnet a big headed magnet. Nothing could get it out. I bought this thing less than five minutes. It got it out. Great I would buy it again I recommend it to any technician or person that does it themselves worth every penny.

Highly Recommended
Very pleased...magnet appears to be NdFeB....very strong. This tool picked up an old metal case Craftsman drill bit set (with about 30 drill bits in it), which is fairly heavy. Good job seller, who sent the "real" orange handle version, not the cheap knockoff.

Does not do what it says
Don't know what I received as package has choice of 8 or 10 or 20 lbs and my package not marked. The idea of the flexible part is great, I needed because I can't bend due to my spine. BUT, it will not pick up like advertised. I ordered a 20 lb, but even if I received an 8 lb. it should pick up a hammer-it will stick to the head and lift it about a half inch off the floor but that's all! Will be returning.

Good Strong Magnet - worked first time!
Upon receipt of the pick up tool, I initially thought it would be too big for the job but it was perfect. We had dropped a metalic lid down a plughole and had slow drainage because of it. This tool was flexible enough to push through the u-bend and I heard/felt a very satisfying "click" as the lid attached to the magnet. My next concern was that the magnet wouldn't be strong enough to pull the lid back out of the pipe but it worked first time. So a spendy job where I might have had to call out a plumber was avoided with a 9.99 purchase - brilliant!
