A proper toaster.
I bought this Bosch to replace a very cheap and useless toaster from a well known warehouse store. A world of difference; the Bosch works well, looks good and does a good job on various sizes and types of bread slices. All areas are toasted evenly. Reasonable price as well.

Stopped working after 18 months
Bought this in August 2024 and it failed in March 2026. As a toaster, it’s okay, but the catch that holds the toast down stopped working. Not a surprise, since it really did feel pretty flimsy. So pay attention to the. Build quality rating. It’s cost £39 and I assumed I was getting a quality product. Since all toasters look the same, it makes sense to go for a cheap one like the Amazon basics which I’m going to buy this time.
