I love the author and have many of her books, so I decided to purchase this one.  It’s geared to young children, and the illustrations are scant.  My 3 year old grandson, who loves being read to and is very familiar with her books, lost interest because he didn’t have anything visual to link him to the words.  Otherwise it’s very sweet like all of her books are.
