I ordered this after weeks of carrying tension in my shoulders and neck. For half the price of a massage I feel better and this is now mine to use 😎.I read the review and decided to go for it. Received it today and after 20 minutes on this wearing a tank top my tension in my left shoulder and neck is gone. I even tried rolling on a tennis ball first against my wall and that didn’t help. I am so relaxed now and could have gone longer. I’m wondering if I couldn’t handle a more intense mat but I’m still thrilled with the results. I’ll lay on it with no tank again later tonight. I could have fallen asleep. Used it on my hardwood floor. I may bring my weighted blanket in too to see if that ups the intensity. I can see napping on it. The lavender scent is nice and I moved the pillow to hit my neck in the right spots. All I need now is an eye pillow and I’m set! Better value than the Shatki but I may get one of those eventually if I want more advanced pressure(their level 3). If this one made a more advanced pressure Id get that too!

Update: The reviewer reached out and corrected this, and I was able to test out a (thankfully!) bug-free mat. As someone with chronic pain from hEDS, I'm always looking for alternative ways to deal with discomfort. So far, the mat has been most successful for my feet, but I haven't seen much help for back pain. I don't find that the spikes are too painful, and I could tolerate them right away. I'm hoping with continual use, I'll see some help/improvement from it. I appreciate that the seller reached out and made it right. Original Review: I had been watching this for years and finally went to purchase it. Unfortunately, when I pulled it out, it seemed really nice, but it was CRAWLING with bugs. I immediately wrapped it up, took it out of the house, and returned it. I would have exchanged it, but if the next one was stored similarly, I worried it would be infested too.
