The instructions say to leave it on your hair for only 10 minutes but I have 4C, low porosity hair. So I need my deep conditioners and hair masks to sit much longer than 10 minutes to even begin taking in the goodness of those products. With this mask, I generously apply it to all my problem areas, in and between my roots to the tips of my hair and edges. I then comb through my hair, since it works for me like a detangler. I then neatly plop my hair up and put it in a shower cap, then sit under my steaming cap for 30 minutes on maximum heat. My hair feels so soft by the time I go to rinse it out in the shower. Now even some of my most stubborn tips/hair ends curl and get little ringlets, versus my twist out looking twisty everywhere but the tip ugh! IYKYK, and now I KNOW. Get this, you won’t be disappointed because it does what it says it does.
