12V Heated Blanket - car/Truck, high/Low Temperature, Warm and Comfortable

This 12v electric blanket works as described. Not too much temp difference between Hi and Low but it is there. Keep in mind that this is a 12v electric blanket & it will never get was warm/hot as a 110v wall plug electric blankets.I bought this 12v electric blanket for summer temp camping in Eastern Sierra Nevadas in Bridgeport, CA. During the day might be 85-90, nights can get 35 or even colder on some nights. I feel this electric blanket will cut the chill for my 8year old son to tent camp. I'm not expecting it to perform mircles but just a little warmth for sleeping at night. I'll be using an optima yellow top battery with a battery box to power it. I'll also need to get a 12v motorcycle socket with dual USB 2.1amp chargers with voltage meter. I think it is $18 prime as well. This will allow me to leave the battery outside inside a waterproof battery box & safely bring the cables inside the tent to run this blanket & charge my go pro batteries & other things.I wish I had this during my camping trip this year. Oh well. It will get used on my next camping trip in a month or so.*****9/18/18 update***.I had the blanket turned on for about 4 hours straight. The blanket gives off decent warmth as long as it is covered. It actually got a bit too warm with an air temp of 58. It proved to me that it will be just perfect when it is in the 30's.The area where it wasn't covered wasnt warm at all. However, if I cover the area, it gets warm within a minute. This blanket is an awesome buy for $18 prime. Now, I'm going to fold the blanket up into its own pouch & pack it away in my camping kit.

Works. Gets warm but not too warm to where it feels like imminent fire hazard. For cold weather camping, use this with another blanket over it. It draws about 55W on hi and 43W on low. Does not have auto-off timer. When camping, I use this with a 120 amp*hr Lithium battery that has a 12VDC cigaret lighter output and it runs all night. Alternatively, use it just to pre-warm the bed.

It works fine, but I wanted the white one pictured, but got red instead. There was also a $5 clearance sticker on it even though I paid closer to $20. So that was a little frustrating.

Bought it for my husband’s 18 wheeler and didn’t realize it was small. He said it works well on the low setting but doesn’t work on high.

Could get warmer does not get as warm as i'd like it to esp on cold cold mornings but it's better than nothing.

Great blanket use it for my boat when it's cold.
