Waooo, I made a great buy, works great, just as described n more, still using it, never gets hot, n charges my accessories without losing voltage,with 2 lithium sealed batteries n a 100 w solar panel,, and I put it all together into a handy sturdy portable tool box, n can take indoors n just connect the other solar panel on my window,100w also, my electric bill was lower, I’m glad I listened, n no maintenance, worry free, also have a charge controller on side of toolbox,, in-house, to charge cells,night light, less around my powered all night,,, n it is awesome, great thing is even on rainy or cloudy day from inside of my window,,I keep 12.6 charge, day n night,,,

I've had this (400 watt model) a week now and have only done a couple of function tests; so far so good. I use it to power a 32 inch LED TV, a 200 watt soundbar and a Blu-ray/ DVD player in my travel trailer. It will run them all at the same time with no problem (such as electrical interference with the TV picture or sound). When not using the Blu ray player or off the over the air antenna, I use one of the USB ports to power an Amazon Fire TV Stick; again, with no problems. I also just use the trailer 12 volt power plug to run the inverter. The fan does not run when the inverter is turned on, only when powering something. Now, the inverter fan does make some noise when it's running but you quickly get use to it. Or in my case, just turn up the TV volume! One of the things I really like about this inverter is that it has mounting tabs. I have it mounted to the wall below where my TV is mounted. I used a couple of small rubber faucet washers under each screw to hopefully help with vibration and road shock while traveling down the road. This also might help a little bit with keeping it cooler too by providing a air gap between it and the wall. I also got a three way adapter plug from Lowe's to be able to plug in the various size transformers. ( I really wish all the electronics manufactures would design a standardized size transformer plug that would fit the same anywhere!) This adapter also happened to match the orange of the inverter. I like it enough I ordered another to install in another part of my trailer to run another TV and my printer. My only complaint is the location of the on/off button; it's close to one of the 110 plugs. If something is plugged in there, it's a little difficult to reach the on/off button. Only time will tell how well and how long this inverter works. Especially inside a moving RV on the wonderfully well used roads in this country!

Works great does just about everything I need it to but just recently I broke one of the leads from the cigarette lighter plug in does anybody know where I can get a replacement or a hard wire installation kit from this brand... I have used to thing every day in the semi to keep laptop charged and then as soon as I get out of the semi I plug it into my pickup and have used it on everything from phones to airing up an air mattress to even trying to run a small little hand vac... I've dropped it thrown it around accidentally left it outside in the rain and it still works barely has but a few scratches

It is really a good product. I need business travel most of the time, and sometimes I have to plug in my laptop to reply some email even on the car. I got a very cheap converter before but it’s not stable which I always worry about cuz it might leads to safety issue. This product is also small enough to carry. The instructions are easy to understand. My friends like to go camping and I borrow this to them. They’re surprised this is so convenient even for camping. You can plug in lamp and your usb charger for cell phone. Great product for sure!

I bought this and used it sparingly for 3 months, mostly using the USB ports to charge phones. When I plugged in a laptop, it the 3-prong outlets stopped working. The outlets were not even capable of charging a normal laptop. The manufacturer apparently thinks the inverter might not be capable of charging a laptop through the car outlet, which just about any inverter should be able to do. They had me hook it up to the battery to see if the laptop was drawing too much power, which was silly. They also said the outlets probably broke from overuse, which is ridiculous because I barely used them and only charged cell phones on them unit I tried my laptop, and I only had the inverter for 3 months. Also, after awhile, the plugs would work to charge cell phones but not the laptop, which shows this is a defective item incapable of charging a laptop. The company claims to have a "hassle-free" 18-month warranty. They also claim to have "100% customer satisfaction," which is essentially impossible and also false based on reviews. To get them to acknowledge a warranty claim, I had to spend time making videos showing how the outlets did not work with my laptop and also had to connect the device directly to the battery, which I never do. They customer service responded quickly, but after I did that, they told me to contact Amazon to make a claim on their manufacturer's warranty. Amazon does not take those claims. Amazon only accepts the return within 30 days. So after the 30-day window, the warranty essentially is up. I talked to three different Amazon chat people. The first person said I could return it if I paid a 20% restocking fee, which makes no sense for a defective item. The second person said to contact the manufacturer again. The third one said they would give me a "one-time exception" and refund me. Amazon sucked up the refund, not the manufacturer. So if you actually want to make a warranty claim, you probably have to get lucky with the customer service representative and may have to try several of them.

Ampeak 400 watt inverter can be used on any solar charger load output which is a feature most solar charger haves but haves no use till I discovered that the Ampeak 400 watt inverter can be used on my Oocycoo solar charger load output. The load output must at least do 30 amps to energized the 400 watt inverter !! 12 volts x 30 amps = 360 watts is almost the max value of 400 watts !!

I really like the features on this item. The easy to access fuses are a great idea. I got the 400W inverter and it powers my laptop fine. The problem is that sometimes the fan fails. Instead of running smoothly it groans and doesn't pass as much air through the unit. I'm really concerned this unit won't last very long.

Lo uso cuando se va la luz en la casa y concertó una extensión del inversor a un contacto de la casa, bajando las pastillas y ya tengo luz en mi casa. Ojo no para minisplit ni refrigerador.. solo focos, abanico e internet

Llegó muy bien, y funciona súper bien. Los materiales se sienten resistentes y de buena calidad

Funciona bien para dispositivos que no usen más de 100W. Por el precio me parece bien, pero dice ser de 400W, y cuando conecté un reflector de 300W no le dio la potencia suficiente. Lo probé con diferentes autos, incluyendo una camioneta Cadillac, con ninguno funcionó para 300W, ni siquiera conectando el transformador directamente a la batería.
