Left scratches on surface while working with laminate. Didn't try it with wood tho

Some people on here said it worked for them, but for me it's utterly useless. As you can see from the photo, it doesn't cut the edge banding as much as rip it off in chunks. I was a bit hesitant when looking at the design but seeing as some people liked it I'd thought I'd give it a go. In hindsight the problem is obvious. Utter garbage design... why mount the blade perpendicular to the surface you'll be cutting? You'd get a far better result just using a chisel or utility knife and being careful.

This thing is a great idea! Very easy to use. The extra trimmer parts give it a bit of versatility and gives me ideas for other projects I might have a go at. It is small and easy to keep in a pocket or toolkit. It feels fairly solid. I am expecting it to work reliable for sometime.
