I researched about 20 different battery operated tea light candles before I landed on the Homememory Flameless LED Tea Light candle (ASIN: B07XBRM234(, so first I want to thank all the Amazon reviewers for taking the time to upload photos and videos — videos in particular because those gave the best sense of how these worked. Use Case: I am light-sensitive. I can’t tolerate regular or bright white and return a lot of things because warm white is not as described. I’m highly chemically sensitive and miss lighting real candles with fire in my home, but the VOCs are too much, so I’m turning to battery operated ones. I have grip issues and struggle to loosen jars and screws. Executive Summary: These candles are about as realistic-looking “fake” candle as you can get. But they don’t look fakey or cheap. I was worried they would, but they are very elegant. Would make an excellent night light for a typical 5+ year old — just be careful because the tip of the flame is pointy and could puncture skin. Really love them and am thinking about getting more for outdoor use in good weather. Great value for the price! Impressed and pleased! Specs: -. Dimensions: 3.5 cm high x 1.5 inch diameter -. Slightly dimmer than a real tea light candle flame in terms of intensity, but overall produces more light. -. No adverse odor; no odor at all. -. Plastic material and composition is firm; when I pinch the sides of the candle, they do not flex. -. Body of the candle has dips in it that make it look like melted wax. -. The light does not produce heat I can detect. Operation: -. Switch is small but easy to operate. -. Battery compartment screws in and is a little tight to open at first, but will turn with the use of a penny. -. Switch and three (3) tiny “feet” on the underside just wide enough to fit a command strip between -. Can’t yet say how long the batteries last; will return to report out when the provided batteries die. -. Nice to have a warning symbol on the not bottom as a reminder not to dispose of the batteries in the trash as they must be recycled. Mounting Ideas: -. Standard small 3M Command Strip is not high enough to clear the switch and feet. Could consider using some cardboard between 2 small strips to create height. -.3M Command Picture Hanging Strips (with the velcro-like hook material) adds enough height to clear the feet — so you could conceivably attach these to a wall, facing out. Recommend using these in the smallest size available.

I got them for an expected power outage for the recent winter storm in the eastern US. Thankfully, we didn't experience an outage, but I purchased two sets just in case. All 48 of them worked right out of the box. They produce a soft, flickering glow. They are very pretty and for the price and functionality, totally worth it! (I just hope that if I need to use them in the future the batteries still work, because it would probably cost a small fortune to replace them.)

Very nice candles. Flickering lights, I don’t think they have timers, I tried but they were still on in the morning, easy to turn on and off. They give off that little pop of light that makes your home beautiful.

These are perfect for the purpose. I had a white elephant Christmas party to go to so I got creative with a spa gift. I had a pretty marbled looking box with paper fill and nestled in some eucalyptus, and some packets of dried flowers, tube of bath salts and some other spa stuff. But for a wow factor, I added 3 of these tealights (plus some extra batteries). I turned on the 3 tea lights and nestled them in the box, before leaving the house so when the person opened it, there would be an ambiance and the scent of eucalyptus leaves and spa stuff. The person who opened it definitely kept it and was amazed. But I kept the rest of the tealights. They last a long time when you leave them in all the time, like a month. From a distance they look very real, and beautiful ambiance. I keep them on a shelf with my pets’ paw prints and a picture of a friend who passed away. I’m going to buy more, but this time will be the ones with the 6 hour timer. These I’ll save and use during power outages. They throw good light. Definitely worth it and affordable. In my photo the glow looks quite yellow, but in reality, it’s warmer a leaning a bit more orange like an actual flame on a real candle.

I loved these battery-powered candles. They create a cozy environment without smoke or heat. Perfect for dinners, home decor or events. They work excellently and last long.

I made some Christmas decorations on my laser cutter and I used these candles to go with them. I work in an ER and I brought some decorations for the nurses station. Turned the little lights on and they flicker and look like a real candle. The crazy part is, I didn't turn them off and they lasted around 4 weeks! Constantly on and flickering away. Super good value from these little things. And they are not much money for a large pack of them. I will totally get more colors to use for projects/crafts. Love them.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of these candles. A little taller than the flat pack type you get from the big box stores with a more realistic flame and long lasting battery too! I thought they were well worth the price.

I have 3 up on a high shelf in Christmas candle holders and I decided to leave them on because it’s inconvenient to turn them off. 5 days later they are still “burning” as bright as the first day and you can’t even tell that they aren’t regular votives. My 2 year old son loves to play with them. Today he threw one and it broke and then he picked it up and fixed it because it was that easy to fix. I have been using a few outside in ice lanterns and even the cold has not seemed to affect their lifespan. Update- 2 of the 3 candles are still bright after 13 days of burning 24 h a day. One looked a bit dim so I changed it after about 10 days.
