Orajel 3 x Mouth Gel - Relief of Mouth Ulcer & Denture Pain

I have used this before - in an emergency. Unfortunately, I suffer from gum disease. I go to the hygienist every 3 months BUT... sometimes, I have had the most awful sore gum and this stuff gives instant relief. It is one of those remedies that I keep in my bathroom for "just in case".

This iontemnt comes in small tubes and includes a topical painkiller. I tend to use it to sothe my mouth, when it is painful, just before lying down to sleep. It does come in a small tube however, and at often over 4 pound a tube, can work out pretty expensive, especially as you tend to get through them quickly. They do come in two strengths, but the stronger one is only available from a pharmacy, whilst the other can be bought in a supermarket. I find, however, that becasue of the cost amongst other things, GP's are reluctant to prescribe sufficient to be useful. I have a chronic mouth consdition, which often needs some temporary ssoothing, and this numbs is up, in the short term, very well. The down side is that it is expensive.

It does what it says it does!With 10% benzocaine in this gel, it numbs any ulcers or denture rubbing sore spots, or any other sore part of your mouth brilliantly well.It's easy to apply. Numbs more or less instantly and feels cool too.The numbness only lasts upto 20 mins to ½ hour, I found. However as only a small amount is required per sore area, reapplying it a few times appears to numb the area for longer.Give it a go for pain relief of the mouth, it works! 👍(Some people can react badly to local anaesthetics, so use caution if using for 1st time. ONLY USE A TINY AMOUNT UNTIL YOU ARE SURE YOU WON'T HAVE AN ADVERSE REACTION!!!!! 🤔😱🤞
