Is 80m the total distance, or is the range 80m on either side totalling 160m? Don't understand why this vital information is missing.

Is the +/-3mm over the entire 80m or per metre?

Alas, me white didn't answer your question. Mine, arrives today, and I'll check whether the accuracy is per metre or not. (my guess is that it must be on the 40m because a 3mm error per metre could be 3 x 40 = 120mm which would be useless)

In single laser mode does it measure from centre of device or from one end, so including the devices length in the celculation??

Saves so much time

Was shown this by a colleagus and have to had one. So many useful features that I have only just started to use. Area, Volume etc.. The 2 way laser is especially good as it save me kneeling down 50 times a daay to take floor to ceiling measurements. I look forrward to using the other features.
