I just moved a 135 Gallon aquarium and the suction cups worked flawlessly. (weight is around 230lbs.) The cups attached easily to the glass sides and the tank was carried to its final location with no problem. The release valve is positioned to minimize any accidental release. The valve worked fine when needed and the cups were easily removed. I used 4 cups, 2 on each end.
