Kelly's Black Shoe Polish 1.5 oz - Professional Leather Shoe Cream

I bought this to color and protect a pair of raw leather shoes that I had custom made, so I was a little nervous about putting the wrong color on them. The actual product works really well. It applies easily and buffs out to a nice waxed finish that gives the leather a great look. I was happy with the way it went on and how it finished. The one thing I would definitely recommend is spot-testing the color somewhere inconspicuous first. I ordered Medium Brown based on the color chart, but the actual color ended up being considerably more orange than I expected. On my shoes, that was a pretty noticeable difference from what I was hoping for. I'm now trying the Dark Brown to see if I can tone down some of that orange, so I'll update this if that works out. 5 stars for the product itself. It applies easily and creates a really nice finish. Just don't trust the color chart completely—especially if you're working on a pair of leather shoes you really care about. Test it first!

Okay now for those that want simple answer/review on Kelly's Shoe Polish. The delivery was easy and quick. This stuff even in a small container is very effective and works like a charm to fix, change, or repurpose items. For those that want more details and photos. 1st photo is to set the scene on what happen to my cool white zebra print knee-high shoes that I couldn't wear for 3yrs due to the oxidation. The following photos an video are using the product that to my nose had a pleasant smell compare to other polishes. Was basically dry once applied, the color is a true pale gray without looking lackluster or black, but could still transfer on socks. So I still let it sit out in the AZ sun for 24hr to make sure this wouldn't happen. I still have half a jar left for touch ups or polishing an old belt. Made my knee-highs look better than ever & now they are stain proof as a bonus, I wore these in KY during Scarefest & at a Horse ranch and had no issues.

This shoe cream does exactly what it's supposed to do - it goes on smoothly and easily, and leaves my leather items with a really nice, polished shine. The quality of the product itself is excellent and I'm happy with the results. That said, I was genuinely surprised by the size when it arrived. For the price point, I was expecting a larger container. The 1.5 oz goes further than you might think since a little product does cover well, but it's still something to be aware of before purchasing. If you're looking for a quality leather polish and don't mind paying a bit more for a smaller quantity, this is a solid choice. Just manage your expectations on the size relative to cost.

The "charcoal grey" cream worked really well! I had a ton of scuffs on my grey boots, and I was skeptical that a boot cream would fix them up, but this cream covered the scuffs great! I'm really happy I can continue to keepy boots looking good with this cream 😁 I am buying a couple other colors now for my other shoes!

This is the second time I've purchased this product. And I absolutely love it. It makes my brown boots look beautiful. The cardovan is like an old red leather couch, it's just wonderful.

This stuff is not bad but not great… but I’m also no expert. I have a pair of blue leather low cuff, driving shoes. I ended up in some bad weather for a couple days and needed to restore the color. I cleaned them up and used this polish to restore the shine. The problem is it’s very water soluble and easily comes off. It can get really dark when applying and I needed a couple drops of water to thin out the polish and get some control on how dark the leather gets.

Kelly's Shoe Cream was an excellent choice for my new black Chelsea boots. I've worn these boots a few times and they lost their luster. I applied two light coats of Kelly's Shoe Cream, and it bought them back to life giving them a beautiful sheen. I highly recommend this shoe cream.
