It doesn’t give me confidence.
1. Misleading Advertising If the listing: • Clearly says “2 toothpaste tubes of 100 mg” • Shows photos of 2 separate units • But then sends only 1 tube of 200 mg 👉 That can be considered misleading advertising, because customers purchase based on what is shown and described. It’s not just about the total quantity — it’s about how the product is presented. ⸻ ⚠️ 2. Barcode Scraped Off This is even more concerning. When: • The barcode is scratched off • The lot code is not readable • The box code does not properly identify the item It may indicate: • Unauthorized resale • Imported product not intended for this market • Diverted product • Or, in the worst case, a non-original (possibly counterfeit) product Original manufacturers do not remove or scratch off codes. That is often done to prevent tracking.
