Review: Does the job just fine. - This did the job of providing an inspection hatch instead of the hole in the wall I inherited on moving in. The only thing I would say is that the first door was broken on arrival so it wouldn't shut properly but the replacement was fine.

**Q: Is it really only 1" deep?**
A: More like 3/4”.  Works great. Use Liquid nails to mount it .

**Q: It says that screws or fasteners aren't needed, so how is this installed and secured in the drywall?**
A: Just use "instant bond caulk" & 'blue' tape to hold in until it sets.  (a few min.)

**Q: Can the door be removed ?**
A: This is a lightweight door without fasteners.  It is designed to be adhered to the wall with caulk.  It will leave damage around the opening when pried off.

**Q: What should the size of hole be**
A: A very tight fit on my hole is 7 11/16 X 11 3/4 inches. In a sheetrock opening. Frame panel stays in place without adhesive on a wall.
