One of them didn’t fit properly but this was fixed by a bit of careful trimming. They do not move easily once on. This is good for me because I rarely use the hot shoe.

There’s nothing to dislike. I bought the canon camera hot shoe and it fell in a river whilst I was taking a photo.It was just too loose. Nice idea but not a tight fit .This on the other hand fits perfectly and will not fall off that easily.Excellent.

These how shoe covers are super simple to use, and I've found that they're really effective at keeping the dust and debris off the data contact pads, and out of the horizontal running guide that the flash slots into. It's well formed, with a decent friction fit that holds in place securely but is still easy to intentionally remove, with the knurled style arrow guide providing just enough friction to operate with my thumb.

These are cheap, flimsy and do not fit tightly. Save money and buy the Canon ones.

The media could not be loaded.  First impression and application.:👀 These are quite small as expected, but fitted perfectly to my Cannon. They just push into place and have the usual removal direction arrow stamped into the top. You might see from the video my hand is shaking a little with the force needed to get them out again as they are a tight fit, but at least they won’t easily fall out. The black plastic, possibly ABS, will probably wear in depending on how often you mount a flash or other accessory in the hot shoe.Packaging and delivery:📦 ♻️ The plastic bag these are supplied in was quite hard to get into and I didn’t want to damage them. They did arrive quickly.Pros:✔️ Just push into place.✔️ Works well on my Cannon.Cons:❌ A little hard to remove.Conclusion:✅ Another great little accessory from my camera parts supplier of choice right now. It is amazing just how much dust and grime gets into the hot shoe mount no matter how much you take care of your precious camera, so overall a great idea. The NEWEER Hot Show Covers were delivered in a small plastic envelope, which ion reality could have been a small piece of card for environmental purposes, but I suppose it was minimal in size. They are a simple design that fits quite solidly into the hot shoe to keep it protected from any knocks and free of dirt and possibly other accessories or objects in your camera bag.I have a myriad of accessories some with hot shoe mounts and not enough of these covers so the extra 4 in this pack are a most useful addition to help protect these extra pieces of kit. The simple push on and push off works as it should with a little but not too much force needed ion either direction with the arrow to indicate the posh off direction.Overall a decent product but it is quite expensive I feel for £8.99 – that’s almost £2.25 per small plastic clip, then again, what price repairing damage to a hot she on your camera or accessories?

Many that I looked at were cheaply designed and made. These fit my Canon 80D precisely and appear to be very well made. As these things are easily lost or misplaced, the fair price made it a good deal.

I fell in love with these little protectors when I had a rather expensive full-frame mirrorless Canon that did not have an onboard/pop-up flash. All of my other cameras have onboard flashes without protectors to the hotshoe. Of the four protectors I bought, one (Canon XT) is a bit snug but not overly so, and the other three (Canon SL3, Canon T7, Canon 5S IS) fit perfectly with no sense of tightness nor looseness.Note: The pop-up flash doesn't work with the protector in the hotshoe, so if I use the flash (which I don't very often), I just pop it off and sit it with my lens cover - no problem.I like that the metal contacts on the hotshoes are no longer exposed, and frankly, it helps the aesthetics as well. These are great accessories!

Me gustaron mucho y tienen buena calidad. Pero el agarre podría mejorarse ya que un par de veces solo por el movimiento ya se salían un poco.

Zum Schutz des Blitzschuhs meiner EOS Kameras habe ich mir diese Abdeckungen gekauft.Sie passen sehr genau in den Blitzschuh.Ein kleiner Nachteil...Sie können beim Herausholen der Kamera aus der Tasche schonmal leicht herausrutschen.Da werde ich sicher noch eine Lösung finden.Das schmälert aber nicht den erfolgreichen Schutz vor Schmutz im Blitzschuh.Der Schmutz lässt sich nur schwer entfernen; ohne passendes Werkzeug.
