Tribest PBG-5050-A Portable Blender for Shakes and Smoothies with Glass Blender Cups, Chrome

I am a long time Ninja blender which I love but I wanted to get away from the plastic cups since we are heavy users (2-4x/day for household). The Tribest has a sturdy base and seems to blend well even though it doesn’t have the auto pulse that ninja does which mixes ingredients well. I like the larger cup for smoothies although I wish there were 2- we probably won’t use the smaller glass. The jar it comes with will be handy for making salad dressings and kit using the smoothie cup. The cup openings are narrower so it makes putting in frozen fruit a little more awkward. Also the blade base is in 2 parts, so it makes removal after blending also a little awkward. However overall I’m happy with the product. It seemed to be the best glass cup blender I could find.

I was so excited to receive this product-and terribly disappointed when I opened the box to find it very loosely packed, and not in an original box just loose with some paper thrown in! The glass jars themselves are heavy duty and exactly what I was looking for, but the blender is cheap plastic and doesn’t even work! I will be returning this product

I’ve been making switches throughout my home to remove plastic and other toxins and removing my ninja blender for my daily protein shakes was high on my list. I came across this blender and decided to give it a try. I am beyond impressed. It arrived quickly, very well packaged, and the quality is amazing. The glass cups are very thick, the parts are all stainless steel or silicone and the motor is very powerful. Be sure to place the blade and lid on in the correct order or you’ll have a mess like other reviewers did. I’ve had it for a few months now and it still looks and functions perfectly. I would definitely recommend this.

I love having an alternative to my Vitamix. Doing small quantities in the large blender is sometimes tedious. Having three sized containers is great. This blender does some things well like grinding flax seeds. That alone may be worth the investment for me. It doesn't compare to the Vitamix with blending harder items though. **I've had the unit for over 3 years now. Still love the concept. Much rather be using glass over plastic. Sadly the glass does not hold up. I've had 3 replacements for the large container. And recently the small container met it's demise. Each break has been exactly the same, around the baseline of the cup. It was random each time. Not due to undue force or stress. Not due to hot liquids. Just picked up the containers and the bottoms had separated. So weird and so frustrating. And these containers are not cheap. The company was good the first 2 times but now they have just ignored me. If I was negligent in my handling of the units I would understand and take accountability. But in this case I can earnestly say the product does not hold up over time. Now I 'm left with a motor base with only one medium sized container which I'm afraid to use because I don't know when it may crack also.

High quality. This is a game changer. My heath conscience wife with her osmosis loving no bpa kitchen was using a scratched up plastic bullet everyday. There is no comparison and this makes the best smoothies. Like they are smooth! You can’t even notice when it chops the ice, it is that powerful. Still fits under the counter too, Don’t wait, get one

I was looking for a single serve glass blender and I was excited when I found this Tribest blender. This blender was disappointing. I really wanted to like it but I truly could not. The blending power is a joke. It wouldn't even blend a single pitted date. I would put one date in there and every time, three quarters of it would remain whole. It was bizarre. When drinking with the lid on, the lip of the lid would be around my nose area and that was inconvenient and strange. There was also something odd about the order in which the different parts needed to placed in order to blend. I do not recommend this blender. The idea is good but the execution is poor.

This Tribest blender is awesome. I’ve been using the ninja blender for years and while it’s great, it doesn’t last. My mom burned out the motor and I just wasn’t too impressed with it. Mold could easily grow under the gasket, and they were plastic cups. I always wanted a glass blender and I finally stumbled upon this one. I went ahead and returned my new ninja blender and took the plunge on this one and I am SO glad I did. The quality is awesome and I love that it’s all glass. The motor works great and when put to the test to blend my morning frozen smoothies or even make at home powdered sugar, it did not let me down! I was a little hesitant because of the amount of reviews and I was worried it would look different in person but it came better than expected. The base isn’t huge and bulky like some other blends or the ninja one and I LOVE that. Vitamix who? I love my Tribest blender.

I use this to blend broccoli sprouts. I add 1 cup of sprouts and water, but it takes several times to blend and it still doesn't fully blend. I had a Nutri Ninja prior, although it had a lot of issues (like bad barrings), it always blended anything well. I wish this was more powerful. UPDATE: The motor died within a few months of use. Tribest fixed it, but months later it died again. Not worth the money.

I have tried MANY blenders in the past and they all fell apart and were very hard to clean. I love that the containers are glass and the blade is stainless steel !! This one is the best !!! Easy to clean, solid and sharp blades. Chops up ice perfectly for my protein shakes. I recommend this blender !!

This product is EXCELLENT. Take care of the rubber grommet. Obviously, although most of the components are dishwasher safe, only put the ones that are described as dishwasher safe in the dishwasher. Glass jars NOT PLASTIC - FANTASTIC!!!!

While trying to blend a hot coffee drink the bottom of the glass completely blew out and almost injured one of us due to flying glass.

The glass is great, the motor is quite noisy compared to other blenders. Have been waiting for more than 6 weeks for warranty repair. so that take it from a 4 star to a two star for me.
