When I assembled my 2 heavy tables (no drawers, you could call my desk a very sturdy table), and put my monitors on them and tried to WIGGLE the tables, they do not budge. 60 lbs each. After I placed these 2-inch risers under the legs on my 2 tables (now a substantial L-shaped workdesk), the tables still do not budge. I move around my office often, squeezing past my desk sometimes, and I was concerned about STUBBING my toes on a corner of any desk-risers. These are very attractive, and since they are rounded, they put me to ease. The size is just right. The legs on my desk are 2-inches, and they fit well into these risers. My desk still DOES NOT WIGGLE. It was a little challenging getting the corners of 2 desks to smash together, but it is not the fault of these risers. The base on these risers are a full 4-inches wide. This is what you want, unless you need to compromise for some reason. They feel like real wood, and probably are quality wood.
