After installing, the BOSE sound would not work at all. AMprime employee sent me a message with instructions to fix it (connect AMP-CONT cable to ACC cable). Once that was fixed there was sound for music but not for phone calls AMprime employee messaged me suggestions for that too (connecting the backup camera cables and unpair/pair phone) and that fixed the second issue. Excellent support and now the quality and fit is very good.

Edit!!! The touch screen went out within 3 months. Can no get in contact with manufacturer. Amazon did all they could for me but now I’m out my money and have a screen that I can’t do anything with. It’s stuck on AM mode. Don’t waste your money like I did. Over all im very pleased with my head unit. Install was pretty simple. Tho there were extra parts with no explanation of what they were. Also there were absolutely no directions for the basic functions of the head unit. Uploading music or photos. And I’m not a fan of not being able to customize the placement of apps on the Home Screen .

The screen is very nice -- it is bright, with nice color, and fits perfectly into the slot, and is just a very handsome look in the car. The sound output is fine (I have crappy speakers in my car so I hear no problems, but I wouldn't be able to tell if there were lol). *For the money*, this is a very good deal. I updated this from a grumpy three star review I wrote when I first installed it, because the instructions are wildly inadequate -- the manual only has 3 pages of installation instructions which lack most of the useful information, like what plugs into what or how to remove the dashboard. You will probably be able to figure it out on your own regardless, just because each set of plugs has a different shape and can only fit in one place. You can figure out how to disassemble the dash from YouTube, and the back up camera installation is a generic thing you can also find on YouTube, it isn't unique to this car or head unit.

UPDATE: 1/15/2024 Company was willing to work with me on the product refund. They are very responsive and willing to make the customer feel assured of their purchase, offered to make sure unit was as updated as possible. 1 star: Unit was easy to set up, no extra wiring needed to get it in the car. Fitment is kind of loose. Takes some toggling to get the steering controls to work properly. Apple carplay does not always connect right away and can sometimes need to turn off and on the unit. Unit is slow and lags, when you change songs the song changes before the screen an catch up. Unit can freeze sometimes. Microphone doesnt work well, on receiving end of calls sounds muffled. Probably would not recommend buying.

It took about 30 minutes to remove old radio and install new one once I referenced a YouTube video on removal instructions. My car has the steering wheel controls so I used the CAN module that comes with the head unit. However, only the volume buttons on the steering wheel work by default. I tried programming some of the other buttons but wasn't able to do it. Maybe the seller can offer some more guidance on this. Other than that, the head unit for perfectly into the car. Just keep in mind that the two screws used on the original radio unit are not used for this head unit because there are no brackets included nor did I see anyway to remove the steel brackets from the original to be used on the head unit. So I just screwed the screws back and left them in place and unused. The wire harnesses that came with it are a direct plug in with the cars factory plugs. Overall, I was pretty happy with the installation and fit. The screen is large, bright, sharp and clear to the eye.

The seller support takes a long time to respond, providing me with wrong pictures. The wiring harness is not the correct kind. The unit does not turn on the seller suggested to wire the the red wire, which is positive to the ignition wire of the vehicle . The unit now turns on, but you cannot turn off the unit through the ignition key thus draining the battery I had to install an on off switch between the red positive wire of the harness to the negative wire of the harness to turn off the unit and the car main accessory

I share with you I have had a pleasant experience with the purchase of this equipment, I have installed it in my Mazda 3 2011 UE it has given my car a great look, I am very happy to have purchased it, at the beginning I did not understand the installation the equipment did not work , the fuse of the car's audio system was damaged and I changed it 5 times, but I contacted the company that sells them and they helped me by guiding me through E-mail to fix the problem and they were patient and very kind.

Look, I bought this knowing there would be very little going on as far as features/functions, but the head unit couldn’t even deliver that. The only positive I will give this thing is the fact that it looked good once installed, almost factory. But the CONS: No steering wheel functions (ad says otherwise), mirror link doesn’t work, everytime you turn the thing on you get BLASTED with an abnormally high volume (you can’t adjust it till after), the themes and layout for the screen are tacky and not customizable. Installation instructions are about as useful as a cup of water in a house fire. Thanks for nothing :D
