Has anyone else been afraid of taking 50mg even after lots of reading on it,& have you benefited from this dose?

Make sure you sea salt load for the first week of taking that amount. I noticed a burst of energy and a huge reduction in brain fog after just the first couple of days. My dreams became a bit disturbing and occasionally still are.  I’ve been on it 50mg for approximately 5 months now.

Why the massive price increase?

You know how much I've spent on phrama drugs, sleep studies, biofeedback, supplements like melatonin, etc etc?  This is comparatively cheap.  This reduced the brain fog and a few days later started helping me sleep much better than I have in years.  The price is probably due to increased price of ingredients.  Probably the fillers aren't junk/trash fillers.  Be glad for that.  I had to return an actual drug just this month because it tasted like burned ashes.  I think they actually put ashes in it.  So be glad when they care about quality, and don't chase cheap.

Has anyone compared the ingredients listed in the Amazon gallery with their actual product ? They are totally different ingredients

I'm not sure I see what you are seeing. Iodoral is a brand name for an iodine preparation with two forms of iodine combined. As stated on the label, they are 20 mg of iodine and 30 mg of iodine as a potassium salt (potassium iodide), for a total of 50 mg iodine. I am not a doctor or chemist but you can research Iodiral and why they say both forms together are better for the body. You can find it is used by various doctors.

What size are the capsules? don't give me inches. i want a capsule size.

It's a tablet - not a capsule. However, I would say it's comparable to a size 0 capsule.
