Any idea if they safe? And would the drainage holes be big enough for ghost shrimp to enter?** A: I am not sure how big a ghost shrimp is but there is a tiny hole at the bottom approx. 4mm or so. They are very cute about as tall at your thumb from knucle to top of thumb. Terra cotta is what they are made of but not sure if ok..would think so and I'm a vet but don't do fish...lol..google terra cotta and fish. **Q: Can these be washed and used to bake cakes in the oven?** A: these pots are very small. I don't think they would be good for baking. **Q: What is the diameter of this pot?** A: I'm not sure. I've gotten several different terra cotta pots in different sizes. Since this one is a stand alone, it might be an inch and a half in diameter...but that's just a guess.
