Great charger…works well.
Battery tender works as intended. Easy to use and set up. Keeps my motorcycle battery charged and the quick connection adapter works great. Just wish the cord was a little longer.

What a great trickle charger. Easy to use and easy to read the screen.

Great for generators that have electric start
Does what it says and works great for Champion generators with EFI and electric start. I lost the plug side for that and needed something to keep the 12v battery charged and ready in the event I needed the generator. This charger worked right out of the box, the SAE connector it uses to mate the clamps or hoops to the charger is the same connector on the generator so I just plugged directly into that and now the battery is fully charged and set on trickle.

Good value and ease of use
I bought this charger because my 10 year old one (different brand) has had a lower maximum charging voltage over time. This charger also has a higher current output, so I expected a faster charge time. It actually takes longer. It sits at 14.8 volts as the current slowly falls to 0.5A, for hours. It is likely over 90% charged at this point, I didn't wait for it to stop. I like the display, as it shows you what is going on. It is easy to use and automatically selects 6 or 12 volts and starts when plugged in to AC power (connect clips to the battery first). You can also select repair and trickle modes manually. The actual battery voltage is a bit lower than what is displayed. I did not measure the current. The unit does not get as hot as my 1 amp charger. Both chargers interfere with AM radios, I suspect all these high frequency chargers do this. Overall, I like and recommend this charger, as it offers a lot for the money. The terminal clamps seem frail and I can replace them if they fail. If you have the time, it is better for batteries to charge slowly, as this unit does. I have a 45 year old 10 amp transformer-based charger for a heavily discharged battery or if time is short.NOTE: One important thing. In the safety section of the manual, it states not to use the repair mode with the battery connected to the vehicle. This may damage vehicle's electronics. If so, this should be in bold type. Why take a chance, disconnect the battery terminals if utilizing repair mode.

Nifty tool!
So far it's working great! I had to fight with a stripped screw to get my battery out of my moped (usa taotao pony 2020), it's been in and out of the shop after sitting for over 9 months, and I supps3dted the battery needed to be charged and working and off and stalling alot.Got the battery out and plugged up, husband said batty was at 30%, it's been plugged up for a few hours now. And is charging beautifully. I did alit of research and rad alot of reviews for different chargers. For the price pou t this works very well and in happy with it. Took the leap of faith after reading a review from a motorrcycle rider

Perfect for home use
Don’t usually leave reviews but this thing is mint. Simple and works perfect. The digital screen is clear, you can easily see what % your battery is at, and how many amps it’s accepting currently. Comes with a decent set of clamps as well as a pig tail for battery connection.

Happy so far.
So to be upfront, the product I originally received was defective. It would always show the battery I was trying to charge was full, even after I verified it was not and other chargers would supply a charge. When I realized this I was 1 day out of my return window. I contacted the manufacturer with my problem. After a few days I was contacted by them asking for some info and eventually they told me they would be supplying me a new product! I received it today and it works excellent. I really like the display that shows you what it’s doing. I like that there are 3 different modes as well. Hoping it holds up long term because first impressions are great.

Great battery charger / maintainer
This charger/maintainer works great, but.... I hate how the unit bugs out if there is any play whatsoever in the plug you are using. I have a fairly new cord that this is plugged into but it has just enough play for this to slightly wiggle. This slight play seems to freak the unit out causing it not to charge or maintain my battery. Personally, this issue could be fixed with a grounding side tab(that slips into the grounding socket) to better hold the unit in the plug. Regardless, I still like it for the price.
