I knew I wanted a multimeter that had auto ranging as well as pretty much all the basic capabilities and a multimeter should have But the thing that made me want this one was the fact that it has an oscilloscope feature which is incredibly useful when checking PWM signals and sine wave forms. The meter itself is light but doesn’t feel super cheap like some that I have owned in the past that being said this does not have a case around it so you should still be careful with it but you don’t have to worry about it being broken just by holding it like some other brands. The color OLED display is very nice and can be seen even in some brighter areas although it can be hard to see in direct sunlight as anything with a backlit screen can be. I did not see anything about this in the manual.** A: Yes you can! To DISABLE the keypress beeps, press and hold F4 when turning the meter on. This will enable "quiet mode". To disable quiet mode and enable keypress beeps, press and hold F3 while turning the meter on. To disable auto power-off, press and hold F1 when turning the meter on. To re-enable Auto Power-off, press and hold F2 when turning the meter on. None of this was in my user's manual... yikes! **Q: may I test the working condition of an audio amplifier with this ?** A: Yes i have already Have but be informed that if you have an ac signal with dc on it it will rise the sweep to the dc voltage. I find this is a good scope for adjusting gains and look for clipping that's about it however you can signal trace with it its a lil slow to show signal so you have to be patient. **Q: Is there an "ac coupled mode" for the oscilliscope? (i.e. only display voltage fluctuation and ignores dc component / waveform centered at zero volt)** A: just was playing around with mine and no! when you put dc the sweep rises in ac mode doesn't look like it has an AC coupled only mode it will read an AC signal and DC at the same time hope this helps **Q: are meter leads rated for 1000v and does it read RMS voltage?** A: The meter says its rated for 1000v but id buy a good pair of fluke leads rated for 1000v to use on it as the will fit the meter and yes it reads rms however its reads mor accurate on regular meter mode and not so accurate on scope mode when i compated to one of my fluke meters also i personally would not test 1000v with it even though it says it can 240vac is fine though i have tested it on up to that ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My new favorite multimeter *by A***K on 29 July 2022* I got this multimeter to replace my trusty old fluke multimeter that I accidentally broke.
