Nice product, smells nice

It kept my hair smooth but did not see a difference in thickness.

As I've gotten older, so my hair has thinned a little. I've tried several conditioners to help thicken hair, but I have to say, this one is very interesting. It's simple to use - shampoo, rinse, apply the conditioner, leave in for a short while, before rinsing out. It suggests working in from the ends to mid sections of the hair, that's not quite as easy as it sounds. I ended up with it everywhere! However, there's not much of a smell and the consistency is easily spreadable. You don't need to use a lot. It rinses out easily and my hair felt nice, not heavy with product, and clean. I think my hair did look thicker, not bad after one application, and it'll be interesting to see how it progresses as I use it for longer. It is a lot dearer than I'd normally pay, but it's very different to other products I've used so I suspect it's the science that's gone into this product. It feels a quality conditioner and if you want to try something that will help to thicken your hair, this has to be worth a try.

Tried this after a long search for a good conditioner not tested on animals. You only need a very small amount so it lasts ages, which is important as it is expensive. No I don’t think it “thickens hair”, but it feels a good to use and my hair looks in better condition.

No made my hair frizzy did not improve the thickness of my hair at all despite the price

My hair is a lot thinner than it used to be due to lupus. I have tried several volumizing conditioners in the past, but none have come close to this one. Although it says to work into ends and mid sections of the hair, I used it right up to the scalp and the difference in the appearance and feeling of my hair is amazing. I like that I didn’t have to use a lot, the consistency makes it east to spread and the fact that it is in a tube means you don’t accidently use too much. It rinses easily and leaves your hair feeling light and clean. I styled as normal and was happy to see that not only did my hair look fuller, it also looked as though I had less split ends. Very impressive.

Philip Kingsley is a well known brand and very reputable so there is no doubt that this is a quality product. The consistency of the conditioner is thick and the fragrance is beautiful and subtle. You don't need a large amount which is just as well as this is a little on the pricey side. A conditioner isn’t going to solve the problem of thinning hair and hair loss but it can hydrate, nourish and strengthen the hair which is what this product appears to do. My hair definitely feels more hydrated and has more body when styling. It’s a lovely conditioner but it’s a shame it isn’t more affordable. If you plan to use it regularly then the 500ml is the more cost effective option as the 170ml pack is currently priced at £17.05 per 100m of product and the 500ml pack is currently priced at £12 per 100ml of product.
