​I am absolutely thrilled with this machine! Honestly, it is the best thing I’ve bought in the last few years. Unlike other machines I’ve had, the water doesn’t mix with the empty pods, keeping everything much cleaner and easier to maintain. ​Versatility: Being able to use both standard single pods and the XXL pods is brilliant. If I need a serious kick, the XXL does the job perfectly without needing two separate capsules. ​Milk Frother: The milk frother on the side is excellent—it makes café-quality foam and is very easy to use. ​Value for Money: The price is totally legit. For the build quality and the features you get, it is extremely good value. ​The Coffee: ​I’ve already registered and received a great discount for the pods, and I’ve got my first bulk delivery on the way. Wonderful. Lovely to have the milk frother, coffee so tasty. I bought the L'0r and the 'same as' coffee, much cheaper than their own brand. Great price. Lrge but to be expected. Easy to clean and empty. Large water container which saves keeping filling.

Of course, the flavour of the coffee is down to the capsules you buy, but, having never had one of these types of machine before, I'm completely sold on the convenience. I have a small espresso machine and seperate bean grinder, and froth the milk using the espresso machine's spout, and this is great, but involves a fair bit of cleaning. The Philips, on the other hand, is cleaned in a minute or so, quickly removing the relevant parts and running them under the tap, wiping off, etc. Even the milk frother takes no time at all to clean, so long as it's done straight after use. Some users find the frother not to their likiing, but it's perfect for me. Filling it half to the "max" line does a single cup of milk with practically no liquid left, and to the line leaves some hot milk and enough froth for 2 cups. Given it's only producing coffee for one or two cups at a time, that seems fair. The milk comes out beautifully, just as required for cappucino, for example. For a latte, it's not going to give you the same amount of hot milk liquid plus foam needed - but the machine isn't really aimed at that drink. I've not yet tried the cold milk setting - the weather's not been so blazingly sunny since I received the machine. I'm using it with Odd Coffee pods to make use of normally disposed of coffee, but given it takes the original Nespresso type, there's a wide range of choice out there. Personally, I think it's worth every penny paid.

We had previously ordered this through another site however the package never arrived, as a last ditch attempt we were lucky to come across this on here and it was delivered less than a day after we ordered. The machine itself is simple to use and whilst the instructions are predominantly picture based it explains it clearly enough in the images. The milk frother is a bonus as it allows for you to have a proper café style coffee without needing to leave the house. the compatibility for other pods is also great allowing for less restriction as other coffee pod machines.

Easy to use excellent

Got this on sale and it is fantastic. Needed for my rugby club to make coffees for spectators. The dual spouts are great and the frother is quick. Nie design and great value for money. Highly recommend.

I moved to this after my old nespresso machine, that lasted me over 10 years finally decided to give in. And I have to say, I wish I replaced it with the same one. This machine has been a bit of a headache since buying it. The coffee quality it pulls itself is actually very good. It’s also fairly quiet which is handy, given I’m using it at 2:30am every day before I leave for work. The issue I have found is with the milk frother. My old machine had a frother that you could make a decent amount of milk with, either with the spring on or off. The spring is on the spinner and with it fitted, it makes a frothier milk, without it makes smoother milk. With this frother, I have had to have it replaced once after it broke after a mere 4 months of use. The frother itself I find to be poor. If you wish to have frothy milk, don’t expect to add more than a thimble of milk to the frother, else you will have it bursting out the seems mid way through the process like some kind of bizarre science experiment. Other than that, it’s okay. Nothing special and does what it says on the tin. But the frother has put me off of buying this machine again and I am looking to buy a new coffee machine soon. I think had I paid full price, I’d be very annoyed, but I got this for under £100 so for the most part I’m happy. It is a large machine as pod machines go, so you need to plan where it’s going to go, and ensure you have sufficient room behind to lift the water tank out for refilling/cleaning.

I brought this coffee machine for our office. It arrived very well packaged, and from using it, its amazing. It was very easy to setup, and you can be up an running in no time. After using this machine for a while, it can make some noise, but nothing too much that bothers me personally. The milk frother also works great, and froths the milk a good level of froth. I will mention that I would like this machine to have froth modes, but for price, it does a great job. In terms of coffee pods, I like the fact you don't have to use lor coffee pods only, you can use your supermarket versions, which can save money. However, after trying all the lor coffee pods, intensities 7-12, I like them all. A mix of 7 individual different packs of coffee is around £40, this sounds alot but I believe there is 7-10 pods. Either way, that's a lot of coffee to work through, so for £40 your getting 7-12 intensitys with different flavours of coffee, my pack had decaf, if your a decaf coffee drinker.
