good size
storage capacity is great ,it held a week's worth of clothes and essentials for a hotel stay. love the color, zippers are durable and love the extra capacity zipper. I was able to organize things well with added outside pockets and extra inner zippered pockets. Very sturdy item and glad I chose this one with 4 wheels so it can stand without tipping over like the smaller ones with only 2 wheels do.

Nice light weight piece of luggage
I recently traveled using a hard side piece of luggage. Upon arrival in my stateroom and unpacking I noticed the case had received substantial damage to both top and bottom corners on one side.; three cracks in the suitcase. I debated buying a new piece of luggage for travel home but opted to buy a roll of duct tape to mend inside and out. Upon arriving home I researched many soft side expandable pieces of luggage and read hundreds of reviews. I chose this 25” piece in black because it had many positive reviews, was on sale at $40 less than same piece of luggage in several colors. I recieved this piece today and inspected it thoroughly. There was absolutely no visual damage. All the zippers worked with ease. Wheels rolled easily across both wood floors and area rugs. The telescoping handle raises to two positions but wish there was a third lower option. I’m 5’5” and the settings are a bit high for me to roll comfortably at my side; however, I can always pull it behind me. I can also easily maneuver along side me by simply holding the top handle that’s used for lifting. This seems to be well made and I feel sure I’ll get several years of service for travel. And, the black matches a carry-on piece I already own.

Sturdy, functional, and beautiful
Best suitcase I have ever owned. No regrets purchasing this. I packed for one week and still had plenty of room in the suitcase. I love all of the different compartments on the inside and outside. The material and structure of the suitcase are high quality. I love the wheels. They make it easy to pull/push your suitcase with virtually no resistance. Rolling your suitcase alongside you is so much nicer than dragging it behind you on two wheels. The color is vibrant. Be forewarned that the lighter colors will show dirt more easily. I was able to spot clean the outside of the suitcase with mild dish soap and water after my vacation. The only thing I'm concerned about is the handle. You can easily raise it and lower it, but it doesn't feel very stable when the handle is all the way up. We will see how it holds up over time. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this suitcase!

Fabric abrasion and stains wont come out
The first thing I noticed is the color is not quite as gray as the picture makes it look it's kind of a khaki undertone a very interesting color. I bought this to replace my 24-in black Samsonite that has problems with the wheels due in part I am sure to the airlines. I travel often for business and pleasure and did not want to spend a lot of money on luggage that's being checked. I use a Hartman softside carry onor a Delsey hard carryon and Ill never check those two. I went with a soft side to check in because it offers two nice size exterior pockets which I use often when I travel. Quality appears to be good but I will update my review after I fly to Miami and we will see what the airlines do to the suitcase. Has a nice removable zipper pouch and has a long interior zipper portion and a zipper on the inside of the lid straps appear to be very easy to adjust and the handle appears to be very good quality and I like how it has handles on the top and side. Wheels appear to be good quality but we all know what the airlines do to the wheels! This is why I refuse to pay a lot of money for anything that I am checking on an airlines. UPDATED: I probably should not have gotten this color as it is starting to show some spots perhaps a darker color would not. I've even tried cleaning in the spots will not go away. Also I've noticed that the fabric is experiencing some abrasion which I've never had with any other soft side suitcase brand. I use the suitcase often whether traveling by car or checking in with the airlines and have put one of those inexpensive fabric protectors on it which does help a little bit. 09.21.25 UPDATE: Fabric abrasion has increased around edges, even using luggage protection. So this must be happening when I taking driving trips. I've never had this happen with any other soft side suitcases.

The wheels took a beating and held up!
I usually like to travel really light and make do with a carry on size, or even smaller, using my Samsonite under seater for even a week of travel. This time though, I needed to pack for a two week trip through Italy, dressing for city, country and resort needs. I originally wanted to get a Travelpro MaxLite. Since I didn't think I'd get much use out of a 25 inch bag in the future, I opted for a used Swissgear Sion instead for under $100 instead of closer to $200 for the Travelpro. My main concern was that the spinner wheels might break on the kind of ground I'd be covering. The bag would travel over rough ground and cobblestone streets getting to train stations. I'd have been upset to break a new, more expensive bag. Two wheelers are sometimes recommended for tvis terrain but tilting this up at times worked The Swissgear was great! The wheels took A LOT of punishment and held up. The bag is very nicely made and roomy. No zipper trouble. The difference for me was that the Travelpro was a few pounds lighter and I wanted all the help I could get with a light bag for handling on trains etc. But all in all, I was very happy with this bag. I ended up overpacking, and still not being happy with my outfits, haha! FYI, if you're going to Italy in the summer of 2023, women are wearing lots of flowy, feminine sundresses and wide-legged linen pants. And linen shops are everywhere. I bought some really cute, inexpensive outfits that became my staples. Could have left a lot of what I brought at home!

Spinner Wheels Failed Almost Immediately
I purchased this SwissGear 25" Sion spinner suitcase in May 2026 specifically for a 30-day vacation through Europe that included several flights between countries. Unfortunately, it didn't even make it through the second flight before problems began. The suitcase handled the transatlantic flight without any issues. However, after the first European flight, the front spinner wheels locked up. Instead of gliding smoothly as a spinner suitcase should, it became a suitcase that had to be dragged behind me on the 2 rear wheels or push it at an angle to get the wheels to roll. It was impossible to roll using the extended handle, so I had to push it using the top carry handle through airports, train stations, and city streets. What should have been effortless became frustrating and exhausting. By the second leg of the trip, the zipper pull on the main compartment had torn off completely, making the suitcase even more inconvenient to use. After just three flights, the fabric was already showing noticeable wear, with several areas beginning to tear. I expected much better durability from a brand like SwissGear. For comparison, my wife traveled on the exact same flights with her two-year-old 24" Delsey hardshell spinner. Aside from the expected cosmetic scratches, her suitcase still rolls perfectly, the spinner wheels work as intended, and it has held up remarkably well despite being much older. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed with the quality, durability, and longevity of this suitcase. A piece of luggage should be able to withstand more than a few flights, especially when purchased for international travel. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this suitcase.

Perfect suitcase
Swiss Gear is a brand of trust. I didn't think I would go wrong with this suitcase and I was right. Size is perfect and pockets are plentiful and spacious. The four wheels are incredible, no squeak or mobility issues, and it's really helpful to be able to move the luggage around straight up. Takes a lot of weight off shoulders. Handles on the sides are perfect for when lifting the suitcase vertically or horizontally. I used this for work trips and for personal trips and I don't anticipate needed a new one anytime soon.
