Perfect for making Mole and other sauces.
I have tried other brands to make Mole and these are definitely the best. The are a good size and fresher than others, which makes seeding and stemming them easier. Other brands are so dry (stale) that you lose half the chile trying to separate the seeds and stems from the chile. The taste is also much richer and fresher due to the quality. Also, these are available in a 1lb bag for a much better price. Despite the chiles being softer and easier to work with, I was still able to grind them to make my own ancho powder for other uses.

The best I have found
The best quality chiles i have come across. Great flavor and they are very fresh and not dried out like ones at the store. The more fresh and good quality chiles makes a difference

The best you can buy!
The quality of these chiles is unmatched! I rehydrate and blend with with Pasillas for a pork marinade and these REALLY make the flavors sing! Soft and still supple, fresh, aromatic, and just plain gorgeous, these are the kind of quality that will make you snub the dusty cardboard smelling chiles of other brands. Prepare to be dazzle and spoiled! I won't but them from anywhere else, now!

Great for authentic Mexican dishes
Thank you. We received the dried chilis on the date expected. We have trouble finding anchos and guajillos here as we live in a rural area. We bought the dried chilis to make authentic Mexican dishes from scratch. Our favorite is barbacoa tacos which we made last night and they were delicious. We also use them when we make our Pozole for New Years. Over the years we have crafted a delicious Pozole recipe where we use anchos and guajillos along with red Hatch chili peppers to make the sauce. And it is delicious, my mouth is watering now as I think of a hot pot of Pozole on the stove. Thanks for the high quality dried chilis.

Used for mole
The mole came out well, so I assume the peppers are good quality - I'm not a pepper connoisseur or anything... But mine came with a living, flying bug inside the bag which scared the living crap out of me. That being said, I'm here ordering another bag. (Surely it won't happen twice, right?)

Yummmmmy!
These are perfect! I cook many recipes from Bobby Flay, and he always uses a crazy amount of chiles that I can never find at my local supermarket. I always buy this brand when I need to use ancho chiles because they are super fresh and flavorful. They always make recipes taste amazing :) I recently used them to make birria tacos, and they were out of this world good. I used to use ancho chili powder as a substitute for dried chilis, but, trust me, there is NO COMPARISON! These are essential if you want your dishes to knock your socks off :)

Estos son buenos chiles
These are some beautiful dried chiles. I bought 4 oz. each of Ole Mission's Ancho, Guajillo and Pasilla chiles, and they arrived fast and nicely packaged. All three are clean, fresh and very handsome. FYI, 4 oz. of dried chiles is a hefty amount of product and should last most people many months, unless they plan on making a chili-intensive dish such as a mole. That's what I'll be making with mine - a slow-cooked, dark mole for eating with roasted turkey, chicken, pork, beef - you name it. Nothing finer. For those of you unfamiliar with the different varieties of dried chiles, Ancho chili peppers have a raisin-sweet taste and are not as fiery hot as, for instance, chipotle or habanero chiles.

Fresh and Clean
I use a lot of these types of peppers for cooking and I love how fresh they are. They are soft pliable not dry and crackly. Plus, they are clean. They aren't covered in that dirt/dust. Great product.
