OluKai Nohea Moku Men's No Tie Boat Shoes, Breathable & Quick Dry Mesh

I bought these right before a trip to Thailand where I knew I'd be walking a great deal and likely getting wet on a regular basis. I did some research for "quick-drying" shoes and came across these on a list of recommendations. Firstly, I liked the look and they did live up to the pictures in real-life. But more importantly, these things held up to the test of 3 very rigorous weeks of use almost right out of the box. The soles are good, hard rubber with a good bit of traction for most all surfaces, dry or wet. They also have a pretty durable upper mesh construct that would sometimes get dirty, but washed off pretty easily with just some warm water so they stayed looking sharp. The insoles are pretty comfortable too, I was walking between 5-10 miles a day and only on those more lengthy distances would my feet get a bit sore. I could wear them with or without socks and be totally comfortable. The versatility with socks was key, because they do not dry as rapidly as I might have hoped. The first time I got them wet I took out the insoles and set them upright to dry and in the morning, they were still pretty damp. However, after wearing them for a couple hours they dried up pretty quickly out in the sun. My feet would get a bit hot when it was hot and dry out, which meant I was sweating into them and there is a smell-factor now that I'm going to have to try and remedy but that's understandable. I had to wear them wet onto an airplane for the last leg of my trip home due to walking thru the rain (and noteworthy, if it's wet at all out your feet are going to get wet, they're not waterproof at all which is a bummer with socks on). Altogether, these were my go-to footwear throughout the trip and I was thankful to have them. I live in a colder climate so having closed-toe shoes to wear when changing climates was really nice. They are showing some very slight wear and tear but nothing out of the ordinary for the level of use I put them through and seem like they'll be good, reliable and sharp-looking footwear for several years to come. If you're a traveler, I definitely recommend them.

These are incredible! I wear either a 10-1/2W or an 11W and purchased 11W and they fit great. They don’t slip but they sit loosely on my feet which is ideal. I never needed a Band-Aid but I put one on just in case. I bought three pairs of shoes for a cruise. Hey Dudes, Sperry topsiders, and these. For some reason, my Dudes ran small, and I was worried that my Sperrys would stretch and go loose. So they remain unused in our cabin. These shoes then have become my everyday shoe and I use them to go to the beach, the pool, to dinner, everywhere and they adapt to your style. I could throw a nice pair of slacks on and these shoes look amazing. Swim trunks? Amazing! I love these so much. I just put an order in for a different color because they are so versatile. I went with the gray color because they are more adaptable to different colors of pants and shirts. Worth the cost, buy them!

Nice shoe. It's a little 'wide' but that suits my foot. Looks nice, too. Only nit pick is it isn't really a slip-on. You need a shoehorn and it doesn't always work as the heel section isn't 'stiff' enough. A little harder for folks with back problems. I feel that could be fixed in production and then this would be great instead of good.

These along with my other similar deck shoes are the best summer spring shoes I have in my wardrobe. True to fir. Super comfortable. Love them!

My brother in law insisted we wear boat shoes on his boat so I bought these. They look and feel great. His boat broke so we spent the week at a Margaritaville in St. Thomas. That’s more information than you need but yet you’re still reading. So I’ll tell you that I wasn’t excited about staying on the boat to begin with. I won’t say these shoes are magic but I won’t say there are not either.

Very comfortable and true to size.

The look good and fit well. However, I normally wear a 10 1/2 shoe size and OluKai's run big so I wear a size 10. That's not a problem since I've bought their shoes before. Unfortunately, they are not the most comfortable shoes. The bottom sole has their signature pattern and it's too thin. you can feel the unevenness of the sole when you walk around. If weren't using these as water shoes I would return them because they are not comfortable enough to walk aboard in all the time. For $120 they need a better sole. They don't have the best value for the money.

Als das Paket mit meinem neuen Paar OluKai Nohea Moku ankam, war ich erstmal verwundert, weil es gefühlt doch arg wenig wog. Dass das so muss, stellte ich nach dem Öffnen fest: Die Schuhe sind wirklich verdammt leicht. Und: Hey, die sehen richtig klasse aus. Angezogen - was etwas fummlig ist, weil zum einen die "Schnürsenkel" gar keine echten Schnürsenkel zum Zubinden sind, sondern lediglich ein dekoratives Gummiband, das sich entsprechend dehnt, wenn man in die Schuhe hineinschlüpft. Zum anderen ist der Hackenteil des Schuhs aus (im folgenden genauer beschriebenen) Stoff, so dass man auch mit Schuhanzieher etwas friemeln muss, bis man drin ist. Und dann: Wow. Das Obermaterial der Schuhe ist eine Art synthetisches Gewebe, das zwar luftdurchlässig und im Vergleich zu Leder ausgesprochen elastisch ist, aber trotzdem absolut robust und belastbar wirkt. Durch die Elastizität hat man den Eindruck, als schmiege sich der Schuh rund um den Fuß und passe sich seiner Form so an, dass automatisch keine Stelle des Fußes mit zu viel Druck belastet wird. Der Rest ist schnell gesagt: Das Fußbett ist passig, bequem und herausnehmbar. Die Sohle laut Hersteller abriebfest und soll auch keine Flecken z.B. auf Hallenböden hinterlassen. Fazit: Ehrlich, so etwas komfortables habe ich in der Form noch nie an den Füßen gehabt. Nach einigen Sneaker-Fehlkäufen sind diese Teile hier für mich das Nonplusultra. Außerdem erscheinen mir diese Schuhe als für Personen mit Schweißfüßen perfekt geeignet, da das Obermaterial so schön luftdurchlässig ist. Kurzum, die perfekten Sommerschuhe. Ich habe sie endlich gefunden.

Hace unos años me regalaron estos zapatos en una convención de mi empresa. Me encantaron por su gran comodidad y diseño y los he estado usando a diario durante la pandemia, aprovechando que en casa uno no necesita vestir de manera formal. El único problema al que me enfrenté al querer comprar un nuevo par es que la marca no vende estos zapatos de forma directa en México. Afortunadamente los pude encontrar en Amazon.

Fit my feet perfectly without looking too big. Good quality and the top surface does not catch dirt easily.

Amazon just delivered these today. Upon opening I was very pleased with the appearance of these shoes. I am an older guy and needed something a little more casual but good looking to wear with linen pants. I think these will be perfect. The material used on the upper construction is very thin compared to most shoes which in my case turned out to be a good thing. I have a really bad back but found these very easy to pull on and off. Another thing to note is I wear a 4e width in most cases. There is no issue with the width wearing these shoes. Very happy with the purchase. Bob S.
