It definitely works for getting you ready to lift weights or do intense Cardio exercises.I used it for both weight lifting and swimming.Definitely could feel the difference with getting a better pump during my workouts and able to do more weights or reps.For my swimming workouts I could notice a definite increase with my yardage and intensity sustained longer than expected.The passion fruit flavor was good but not great.I'm 50 years old and lifted weights most of my life. To start, the flavor was really good (I bought the Passion Fruit Punch). I'm a stickler for pre-workout flavor. The other pre-workouts I tried were all way too sweet and tasted really artificial. With this pre-workout, the taste is subtle and doesn't hit you over the head, but it still delivers a really satisfying flavor.As far as the workout I felt a nice smooth, intense energy the whole time. There wasn't this insane kick of energy for the first 20 minutes that then quickly faded. I was able to really feel the pump with each rep and actually even PRed on two lifts! The only thing I would say is to try and take it the recommended 20-30 minutes before the workout because that maximizes the amount of energy and focus. One last thing I would note again is there's NO CRASH.
