Excellent kit for beginners. When you start resin, you don't know about all the little bits you're going to want to file off. This kit had all the tools needed to clean up and polish your fun new resin pieces. You can't go wrong buying this set to help you on your crafty journey.

This is entirely serviceable as a kit for sanding down resin, but no matter how much I try to use the finer grits and the polishing pads, I don't get a smooth finish. I think you'd honestly need some kind of liquid for that. I also think this product contains an unnecessary amount of things in order to boost the cost of it. You really don't need 4 different files, I can't imagine a circumstance where 1-2 of the shapes wouldn't suffice. You really don't need two brushes, one would've been more than enough. I genuinely have no idea why they include a polishing cloth, usually if you're using a compound you'd want to use more disposable ones than anything else. As far as including gloves, it's fine I guess since you always need more, but at the same time, by the time you're buying this product, you likely already have sorted gloves for your projects. And the scissors just aren't great, they're on-par with cheap ones you'd get for a dollar or two from walmart, so the inclusion feels a bit unnecessary to me. It's also vaguely annoying to me that they include sandpaper that's too long for the box, so all the sandpaper ends up curled and bent. I think it's a good kit for making a smooth surface to work with, but I'm mostly docking the score for including a bunch of things that feel superfluous (and driving up the cost with them) as well as NOT including the thing you'd actually need to polish your finished products--some kind of polishing compound.
