I have tried a LOT of hair products since going grey 4 years ago as I got tired of hair color and seeing grey roots. I pour this into the palm of my hand without gloves and apply underneath my hair working to the top lastly. I wait 10 to 20 minutes and then add hair conditioner and a little water. I massage into my hair and leave on 5 minutes. Then wash out. It gives depth of some darkness to my grey hair. It tones the yellow tinge that grey hair has with use of well water. A gloved hand will stick to the hair so do not use gloves. When finished your palms will be deep purple. Use soap and water and wash your hands until the color is gone. The color will last in your hair for 4 to 6 weeks if you don't use shampoo daily.

I don't have a "before", but the "after" color is so gorgeous that I have received compliments from everywhere, every time, from everybody. My hair is grey and was looking dull and yellow. Schwarzkopf is brilliant because you add a few drops to your leave-in conditioner and leave it in. Then the beautiful silver color can be buildable. It will wash out but leave a subtle platinum hue, so you will need to reapply until the perfect shade is achieved, making this practically foolproof. Will work with blonde hair. I think it's actually for blonde to cancel out the brassy for a cooler blonde.

I bought it to color my grown out gray hair . It didn’t work but it makes my hair soft like conditioner.
