Saw positive results *instantly*
I have been having some pain on the right side of my inner elbow for months, which I assume is an undiagnosed carpal tunnel condition because I am a freelance writer and spend a lot of time typing. I was trying to get by with just exercising in an attempt to strengthen the muscle, but it felt like the muscle was going to burst right out of my arm. I had seen Tony Horton wearing compression sleeves during some of his one-on-one workout videos and figured, why not? If it helps him, it may help me. These were some of the best-rated sleeves and they were inexpensive, so I picked them up. I was bummed that I had to buy a pair, since only one elbow bothers me, but then I realized I can just alternate them for my workouts because if I sweat on one and don't immediately do the laundry, then I have a backup for tomorrow's workout. Can I tell you that in just *one* day, months of pain has already been significantly reduced? I wore the sleeve from the moment it came in the mail, through my workout and up until my shower (so, about five hours), and my arm feels unbelievably better. Like, seriously, I can't believe it. I still felt pain during my workout, but it was more of a mild discomfort, not like I was doing more harm than good. The sleeve was so comfortable that I forgot I was even wearing it, and it didn't roll down at all after five hours of being worn. It also provided my arm with a modest and comforting warmth, not that overheated, dripping-with-sweat feeling that an Ace bandage sometimes provides. I *love* these sleeves and would gladly buy them again. I stand by this high-quality product.

Economical, Effective Elbow Sleeves
These are easy to put in and take off and they can be washed on the gentle cycle. It is recommended that you air dry them. I liked washing in the machine better than hand washing because they dry faster and it hasn’t harmed the sleeves after several washes. I wear them when I workout and throughout the day so they do get sweaty/dirty. I feel like the sleeves help relieve some pain of a case of tennis elbow I’ve been dealing with. I was on the bubble between a medium and a small size per the company’s size guide, and based on other reviews, I went with medium. They fit pretty well but I feel sometimes like they are a little loose and wonder if they would work even better with the smaller (and I assume tighter) size. This wasn’t a concern to me at first, but as I’ve worn them they seem to have expanded ever so slightly after breaking in. Overall I’d recommend the sleeves as they are affordable, well made, helpful and easy to clean. Update: I contacted the company to ask their opinion about whether the small size would fit me better given that the medium seemed a little loose for me. They sent me a new pair in the small size for free and said they have a perfect fit guarantee. I was pleasantly surprised by this and the small size does indeed fit better and offers better support. The medium sleeves would bunch up somewhat and not stay in place as well whereas the small size doesn't do that. Being a little tighter does not make them uncomfortable either when wearing them during the day. I was impressed that the company would stand behind the product like that and very much appreciated the extra effort they made to help me.

Pretty good, but a little thick
Update: Soon after buying these and writing my original review, I got in touch with the seller and managed to obtain a smaller size. I think I missed the part of the measuring instructions that indicated the part of the arm to measure, so the right measurement had me at the boundary between two sizes. I opted for the bigger of the two, one size smaller than my original order. The new size is much better. It provides pretty even compression around the elbow and doesn't slip at all. The thickness of the sleeve is a mixed bag. With the sightly cooler weather, a thicker layer of material is nice, but it was less comfortable in the summer. The thicker material also bunches up in a weird way when I bend the elbow in a way that my thinner sleeves don't. The outside of the sleeve also has a tendency to catch particles, like hair or lint. Still a pretty good choice. Original review: I have pretty frequent elbow discomfort, so I'll usually wear a sleeve on each elbow when doing sports (lifting, bouldering, gymnastics) and will occasionally wear one on my right elbow during everyday activities. I have one other sleeve pair (X-Large P-Tex Knit Compression elbow sleeve that I bought at Dick's), which is what I'm comparing to. It's possible that the size I bought is just too big for me. I measure my elbow right above the join, with my arm slightly bent, which was around 14", so I got the X-Large. I don't really feel any compression at all. I tried pulling the sleeve further up my arm, but this didn't really help too much. Probably because of the fit, the sleeve bunches up uncomfortably and moves around a little when I bend my arm. The P-Tex ones don't have this problem: not only do they fit snuggly, but they come with silicone grips that keep the edges of the sleeve in place. The material for these sleeves is also fairly thick. One of the things I generally like about compression sleeves is that they feel a lot less bulky than wearing a wrap, but these don't really have that advantage. I'm thinking about returning these and trying the smaller size, though I'm not sure if I should just move on to a different brand.
