If the fan malfunctions, the circuit breaker will trip, and save the Temperature Control Switch from damage.This breaker attaches to the DIN Rail (not included) with a plastic clip at the top and bottom edge of the module. With a small screwdriver, slide the plastic tabs away from the module to disengage the circuit breaker from the module. The circuit breaker switch feels good, and operates smoothly. The screw-down terminals clamp onto the wire with good force.Here are a few things that I noticed about this circuit breaker:When the switch is DOWN (in the OFF position), the power indicator window is GREEN. (Think GREEN = circuit is safe to work on).When the switch is UP (in the ON position), the power indicator window is RED. (Think RED = Danger - Circuit is ENERGIZED and it is NOT safe to work on).I could not find any safety ratings from the UL (USA) or CSA (Canada). There IS a rating for EC (Europe).
