A small Latin grammar booklet compactly summarizing the major parts of speech. The vocabulary content is tailored to the related teaching material: Lingua Latina per se Illustrata, pars 1, Familia Latina, but easily stands on its own as a reference.All Latin, consistent with the teaching method for which these books are used. No English explanations of the grammar, so if you’re learning, best to be guided by a teacher Best of all would be to commit it all to memory. It’s only 30 pages. That may sound daunting, but it’s not like memorizing text. You memorize the patterns of word forms, one part of speech at a time. It’s easier than it sounds, and will pay off major benefits as you progess. My suggestion is to start with nouns, then adjectives, followed in course by pronouns, then the most basic verb forms.

Same book we studied with in high school. Great for picking latin back up after some years.

I learn my 7 language, and this book absolutely amazing. I wish see book like this for other languages. ps. If someone interested the same book exist for french and italian - ask google.

This is an excellent reference grammar to be used with Familia Romana. It helped me a lot to better understand the text. It's a bit expensive for 30 pages and the binding isn't that good, so only 4 stars. I also found Mundus Hodiernus: Lingua Latina (Latin Edition) useful for more practice. The modern Latin vocabulary made a nice contrast to the Lingua Latina books.

Easy to understand

Als zusammenfassende Ergänzung, zusätzlich zum Lehrbuch in Ordnung. Grammatik aus dem Lehrbuch sehr knapp zusammengefasst. Ich bin zufrieden, es erspart mir teilweise eigene Notizen.Aber, wer ein Grammatik-Lehrbuch sucht, wäre mit diesem "Büchlein" vermutlich sehr enttäuscht.

Excelente libro y a un buen precio

Es un libro en el que se compendia la gramática latina en 32 páginas.Es muy completo y abarca lo necesario para poder empezar a conocer la gramática latina.

Cet ouvrage constitue une bonne initiation pour ceux qui, comme moi, ignore tout du latin. La principe pédagogique de ce manuel repose sur la répétition de phrases exposant une forme grammaticale nouvelle ou le vocabulaire dans le cadre de "scénettes" présentant la vie quotidienne d'une famille romaine. Mais attention il faut également acquérir l'annexe de cet ouvrage, à savoir le "Pars 1 Latine disco student's manual" qui explicite, pour chaque chapitre du manuel de base, les règles grammaticales et le vocabulaire présentés. Cette annexe est rédigée dans un anglais très abordable niveau lycée.
