They do not have the very sharp teeth that some clips have, thus these are not as likely to tear clothes. They're a little smaller [shorter] than I'd prefer for easy handling, and the mechanism for swiveling only works in one direction (I'd prefer it swivel in both directions) --- but they work well overall.
