I work long shifts (9-12 hours) and it has kept my coffee warm from when I first started brewing. It doesn't leave any metallic taste either in that time either. This is the feature that surprised me most as other mugs I keep my coffee in at work actually goes cold after 4-6 hours. This mug is exceptionally different in that my coffee is consistently hot after 6-8 hours.What I love the least - the flip portion does not extend as far back as I would like. It makes it awkward/difficult to drink the last part of my drink without having to twist off the cap and drinking the rest of my drink that way.
