I purchased this 3 months ago for my 52 year old wife. She was acting different/i think slightly depressed/hot flashes at night( something we never had to deal with... we always Happy!). This product worked so well , I actually did not realize its power... since a noticed a few weeks ago my wife has been acting different. So i jokingly said.. Your new bottle of black Maca will be arriving tomorrow via Amazon.... It arrived... Yes after 30 hours (2nd day ) my wife was normal again. I am now on my third of Maca... Wow ....energy... drive.... mentally sharp and focussed .That is only on 1 daily pill ( f/y/i... 2 pills daily is recc. )

Well I’ve only been taking it for a week but can already see some results in my energy levels and memory. I’ll have to wait and see about the rest

I did a lot of research on Maca Root, a root vegetable, from Peru, closely related to the radish. I researched the different kinds (yellow, red, purple, black), the best kind to buy, why you should buy gelatinized and not raw, and all of the benefits for men and women before I bought this product. I discovered it while looking for pills to help my boyfriend naturally with ED (he asked me to). I noticed that most, or many of the natural ED products on the market have Maca Root in them, so I decided to look it up as a supplement, knowing it would be much less expensive than something marked for sexual pleasure. It turns out, Maca Root is evidently good for a plethora of things. It’s been used for more than 2000 years and grows in Peru in the harshest conditions. To date. China is now trying to rip it off, so if you find maca root from China, everything I read advised not to buy it (just an FYI). It is said to help with what they call “tired blood”, or poor circulation (thus the ED help), however it is also supposed to help with boosting energy, balancing hormones and helping with menopause, and depression. It has a ton of vitamins and minerals in it, it supposedly increases fertility, help with enhancing your memory, strengthen bones, reducing toxins in your body, and is supposed to help with your skin. I’m not a doctor, so I can’t attest to all of these things, however I’ve been taking it for a couple of weeks, and I believe I need to play with the dosage a little bit, but I do have more energy. As far as the ED goes, it hasn’t helped my boyfriend one bit. I suppose I will have to wait and see regarding the rest of it. So far, as a female, I’m pretty happy with it. I like the extra energy. It comes in two forms, powder and capsules. I believe, but am not positive, the powder is a bit better than the capsules, however I read it can be a bit bitter. I have not tried it, so I can’t attest to this. I do know to make sure you get pure maca root from Peru, that has been cooked, or boiled off. Do not buy raw! It is evidently not digested well. As I said, I did A LOT of reading, and research before I decided to take this, and settled on this particular brand. I decided on this brand because 1) it’s organic, 2) it comes from Peru, 3) I likes that it is in a capsule, 4) after doing some research, I thought 1000mg was a good dose to start with, and the price couldn’t be beat for 120 pills, 5) finally, it’s black maca root. Black maca root supposedly has the most benefits of all of the different ones. If you want to try Maca Root, I would say please do some reading about it first. Also, if you take any medications, find a drug interactor online, like WebMd’s, and just double check to make sure it’s safe, or ask your pharmacist, as I said, I am NOT a doctor. If you do decide it’s for you, and you would like to give it a go, I think this is a great brand, and a great value. I would definitely recommend it. As far as the ED goes, I believe he is going to try taking it with some Horny Goat Weed, and see if that makes a difference. Personally, I love it! I only gave it 4 stars because it hasn’t helped at all with the ED.UPDATE: I wrote this review after using it a short time. I did notice it helped with my energy level immensely, however, I began noticing I was getting migraines everyday that my migraine medicine wouldn’t take care of. They would not go away. After looking up the side effects again, I realized that as much as it can help headaches, it can cause them. So, I have had to discontinue using the Maca Root. Since then my migraines have gone away. It’s too bad, because, as I said, it really did boost my energy. Be sure you pay attention to any other side effects that may be happening.

The doctors have been no help in figuring out what's wrong with me so I've been forced to do it myself. I researched maca for awhile and then found this. It has helped me quite a bit. The bloating I was experiencing (major total body bloating) has been diminished so much. That is the best part, I think. My clothes finally fit me on a consistent basis. I have noticed less fatigue as well. I still have some fatigue but it has been improved. My sex drive is slightly better but if I were only taking it for that purpose I do not believe it would be worth it. I have been taking one tablet twice a day. I have not had any stomach upset and I have a pretty sensitive stomach. I take it for three weeks and then stop for a week to give my body a rest. I will be purchasing a new bottle soon and have recommended it to many of my friends.

I've been taking this to try to increase my energy, libido/testerone and I can't say I really noticed any improvement. What I have noticed is after a few weeks I've developed really bad stomach pain so I tried lowering the dose to one capsule but the pain persisted. Once I stopped taking it the pain went away all together. I've taken other maca supplements before and never had any stomach pain like this. If you have a sensitive stomach be cautious with taking these.

It works & does what it is supposed to do. I would provide more details, but my issues were of a sexual nature and I’m an old fashion lady, so I won’t get personal about the results. All I will say is that I’m happy & my husband is happy.
