Jensen® Personal Cassette Player/Recorder with AM/FM Radio

Value for money.After all China make.Too expensive.Reception very poor.

Usually, I find today’s cassette players to be cheap and gimmicky. This unit delivers on all of its promises. The sound quality from the single speaker is surprisingly good. The cassette plays at constant speed. The radio works well thanks to the retractable antenna. My son is 5 and this unit stands up to his abuse as well.

The media could not be loaded.  El tiempo de llegada fue lo justo para ser un producto de importación, además, el plástico se nota que es de una calidad superior a otros reproductores del mercado. Mis cassetes sonaron genial a la hora de meterlos dentro, todo esto a pesar de tener más de 20 años y encontrarse en un lugar lleno de polvo. En algunas reseñas leí que dejaba de funcionar con el tiempo, sin embargo, lo recomendaría ampliamente para los que quieran volver a los 90's.

The media could not be loaded.  It looks very nice with the matte black, works well but I did just open it, wel see how long it lasts. It sounds maybe 8 out of 10. Not the crispiest treble or deepest bass. Its good though and it is cassette so that in itself is not the best sound. I tried with Aiaiai headphones and those arent the best on sound quality. I also hooked it up to my Sirius XM boombox and it definitely sounds a lot better. I like the cassette sound (hiss) (muffle) so its good for me. Good job Jensen! Give you props because no other big brands make these anymore.

Although I have not received my blank cassette tapes to test the record function, the radio and tape player functions work perfectly so far. Most importantly, and the reason I bought this, is as long as you have a fresh set of batteries this works outside for long periods of time during cold Canadian winters (unlike cell phones and iPods). Analog beats digital for arctic temperatures, that's for sure!

Buen equipo para rescatar mi colección de cassettes. Como tal no esta al nivel de los equipos de sony que traían funciones pemium como dolby NR, auto reversa, selección del tipo de cinta ( oxido de cromo), y construcción solida, etc.. Pero funciona bien, tiene una calidad de sonido buena para poder extraer el audio y pasarlo a digital. No incorpora una extracción a digital nativa como otros, pero en realidad eso se hace de forma fácil con un cable 3.5mm a 3.5mm conectado a una pc/laptop y usando audacity que es libre de uso, o incluso algunos equipos de audio que admiten entrada de audio y grabación a usb. En general recomendable.
