The soap bar dish is doing exactly what it is supposed to do, merely keps the soap bar dry and ready to use, eliminating mushy and desintegrating nature of a soap bar that is sitting in water. Wooden bars keep the soap clear of the accumulating water, and the dish is easy to empty and dry, making it a great piece in the bathroom. Additionally, I noticed that it does not slip or move too much on the tile, so it does not end up on the floor, or in the tub or sink. Great piece! 5 stars!

Great decor item to stand apart but accent any color used around it. Bamboo feels solid and sturdy. I actual separated the bamboo and turned it upside down to keep my Whal trimmer of of the marble countertop to keep it from rusting if water contacted it. And my wife uses the base for a ring holder and hair accessory tray. Value for the money is great because I was able to use the pack of two in different ways. The size will hold a large bar of soap easily, even with the thickness of the bamboo.
