Bought his guage cluster because it was all electic. used a seperate electic water temp sensor and also a electic oil pressure sensor. Can't use a oil guage witha hose or tube to engine if you want to race car ( NO plastic tube allowed must be copper tubbing for racing) . It could leak and put oil on the race track. I like all electric sensors. works good and a good buy

**Q: does voltage affect reading**
A: So my crown Vic police interceptor puts out 15.6-16.2 volts on average I didn't have any issues besides not haveing a good ground to the sensor locations I gave the water and oil a better ground just used a big enough eyelet to put the sensor through then snug it up it my gauges were alot better but I did have problems eventually with the oil sender leaking at the canister

A: No fuel gauge

**Q: Can you use the factory oil sending unit and/or water temperature, or do you need to use the ones provided in the kit?**
A: You must use their sending units. They are calibrated to the gauges.

**Q: What thread are the sensors ? Will it fit a 5.3 ls series engine?**
A: The fittings are standard pipe thread (npt). Chances are that you'll need to get step down adaptors since the fittings in the engine are typically larger.

Arrived on time and exactly what I ordered. Bought his guage cluster because it was all electic. used a seperate electic water temp sensor and also a electic oil pressure sensor.
