Recommed - It's small and simple but it does the job!
If you want a cheap stand and don't mind simplicity I recommend you get it. It works great for me and I am more happy with it than expected. The photo shows it holding up a heavy textbook, and I left it there on the table for over a day and no issues, so I'd say it's holding up the weight and size well. The color is a bonus!

I JUST MIGHT HAVE TO PURCHASE ONE IN EVERY COLOR!!
I initially bought this item in two colors...I have to say that I am very satified with it so far and for that cost, I cannot wait to add one of every color to my collection!! The sturdiness and color are more than what I anticipated and in a happy way! I recommend this item, you won't be dissapointed.

Works well enough
This works very well for the price. With the first 10-20% of stiff paperback books, it's hard to get it to hold the left side open well, but the rest works. The bottom is just metal and I added some stick-on foam pads so it wouldn't scratch surfaces.

It's ok? Nothing to write home about!!
I recently purchased the MSDADA Metal Book Stand for Desk, and I have mixed feelings about this product. While it does offer some benefits, there are also a few drawbacks that prevent me from giving it a more positive review.Firstly, the stand is made of high-quality metal and has a sleek and modern design that looks great on my desk. It is also adjustable, which allows me to customize the reading angle to my liking. This feature has helped to reduce neck and eye strain when reading or working on my tablet. However, I did have some issues with the stand. The clips that hold the pages of my book or document in place can be a bit difficult to adjust, and sometimes they slip, causing the pages to flip over or slide off the stand. Additionally, the stand is not very stable, and I have found that it can wobble or tip over if bumped or jostled.Overall, I would say that the MSDADA Metal Book Stand for Desk is an "ok" product. While it has some good features, it also has some drawbacks that make it less than ideal. If you are in need of a book stand for your desk and don't mind the minor issues, then this product may work for you. However, if you are looking for a more stable and reliable book stand, you may want to consider other options.

Adjustable fits Study Bible
I have a Crossway ESV Study Bible Large print that I was looking for a holder for , for ergonomic reasons, I study alot. So this is nice and cheap for when I want to study , I may buy another one for my Bible dictionary as it’s pretty thick too and I usually like to have them side by side … if I do that I will post an update with both side by side. The bottom part that rotates is adjustable too so it’s nice to adjust the angles and to be able to rotate the part that holds the page . I also got white so I can leave it on my counter . I love that it’s thin too so when I travel I can just pack it as I bring my Bible with me pretty much everywhere .Everything else in my opinion is so expensive .The pictures are with my Bible in the middle which is obviously easy bc it’s at its thinnest then . But I also posted with it at the preface since that’s equivalent to its true thickness (the Bible ) when closed . I also have the holder adjusted to the very first angle so I’m sure if theee were thicker books they could fit . But this is a pretty thick book.Hope this helps!

Doesn’t hold my clip board with a couple papers up very well
It is better then nothing at all but I will probably still order a different one. One that hopefully will hold my clip board and a couple papers up like straight up to where I can see all of the paper. And not on a slant.

Sufficient
I like the concept, however I wish it had a little better ability to hold things in place- perhaps a few well positioned clips. But the size is perfect for holding a few file folders, and helps keep me organized in a limited spaced work station.

Too flimsy
It is very lightweight, making it suitable for only small paperbacks. I bought it to hold up a large textbook, but unfortunately it falls over way too easily. There is not enough space at the front to hold a large book. The main problem is the “adjusting mechanism”: it is too flimsy, meaning that even if it is holding only a thin paperback, it is likely to collapse when you turn a page. Sadly a waste of money.

Okayish for paperbacks
I’ve yet to find a holder/stand that will suit a large text book. The base on this is too small, so any moderately large, unbalanced book (think 10 pages read, 300 pages unread) falls over immediately. Also, I’m not convinced that trying to hold a page open at the very bottom is a great idea. The search continues.

Does what it's designed for.
Bought initially to put on hospital bed table to enable patient to read book without having to hold it. Sturdy enough to hold book and securely supported one sheet of paper at a good angle when copying and typing info into laptop.

Too weak
I may as well have not bought it. At first I thought it was OK - but I was wrong. it doesn't even hold the pages open on my textbook because its made from such weak materials. It was not worth the price at all. It's probably only good for holding single pieces of paper.

Great but soon broke
This was really useful when I bought it, was what I wanted to hold my course books. It however collapsed after a week, coming apart and now won't hold the book open.
