Great system!
I bought this system to upgrade the backup/rear view system in my motorhome. The Voyager system that came in the motorhome was black and white, and had developed some problems recently. The Dallux system is much less expensive than the Voyager system, has a larger monitor, is in color, and the definition is much better. Like the Voyager, it provides for the capability of a second camera input, and the camera that came with it provides night vision capability. It also comes with a remote control, which is nice because of where I located the monitor. The system was easy to install, and I'm totally pleased. I highly recommend this product. Also, the vendor has been fantastic with followup and offers to help as needed so it's been a very good buying experience.

Reliable, it works
Once you get this system installed it is reliable. No lost signals like the wireless systems. Installing this system, however, requires some familiarity with automotive wiring. I installed this on a pickup truck and fifth wheel camper. I added a cigarette lighter plug on the power wires and cut the cable at the rear bumper of the truck and added a 4 wire connector so the trailer can be disconnected. I like the fact that the one plug in the cab supplies power to the whole system including the camera on the back of the trailer. For the first time, I can now see cars behind me and when I pass a car I can tell if it is safe to pull back into the right lane.

Perfect solution and super bright.
My 96 old style Chevy needed a backup camera and I’ve tried others. This one is brighter, bigger, easy install, and a great value, I mounted it on a phone holder and placed it in the cup holder behind my manual shifter

Wired is better than wireless over 30 feet
The dealer installed a wireless rear view camera because the B&W (2004) original was going in and out. Well, so did the new wireless. I have a 35-foot RV and most wireless technology is reliable to around 10-meters or 33 feet. Add in a couple of walls, and you get regular, long drop-outs underway. Installing any wire from the back of the RV to the front is a task-and-a-half. (Recommendations: cover the camera wire with split loom for protection and use plenty of tie-wraps.) I've had the installed system out on the road twice and not a single drop. The image is great (for a rear-view camera, matches my phone). I installed the viewing screen below a cabinet to act like a rear view mirror. You have all sort of flipping options (L-R, Up-Down, and any combination) to get the view you prefer. It's been in the rain: no problems. It uses a (modern) standard rear-view camera mount, but depending on your older RV, you may need to make simple modifications to where your old camera was mounted. Very pleased and well worth the installation effort.

Deceptive description and terrible at night
I bought this to replace an older camera in my motorhome. Since there was already a 5 circuit coax installed (and very difficult to replace), I decided that I would reuse my existing coax cord, and simply cut the plugs off and splice the wires onto the new plugs that came with this unit. As seen in the description and pictures, they make a very big deal about this being a "4 Pin Connector" and "4 Pin Cable". THAT IS AN ABSOLUTE LIE AND FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! The plug that you get does indeed have 4 pins when you look at it, however when I cut the connector off I found that there are only 3 wires inside of the cable itself - I've included a picture that shows 1 red, 1 yellow, and 1 black. Therefore one of those 4 pins is just dead and connects to nothing inside. I had first only cut the ends off of the long coax cable that is included with the unit, but after discovering this I decided to go ahead and cut the connector off of the monitor side as well to see if perhaps it was just the coax extension missing the 4th wire - it was not. As you can see in my second picture, there are only 3-wires inside of the monitor cable as well - 1 red, 1 yellow, and 1 ground. Yet there are 4 pins on the connector. I can not imagine why there would be a 4-pin connector on a 3-wire coax other than to try and deceive buyers. Business practices seen all too often from Chinese manufacturers. I did go ahead and install the system since I knew that I could not return it having cut the wires. It has a pretty decent image during the day but I did have to mess with the settings quite a bit - for example I tow a red Jeep behind my motorhome, it appears purple on the screen unless I turn the color setting all the way to the max. Night time vision is non-existent. I have also included a picture of how it looks at night - just a washed out white screen is the best you can get from it. I have to just turn it off while driving at night because the washed out bright white screen blinds me. Overall, this item is not at all as described and more troubling that it is falsely advertised. Do yourself a favor - steer clear, spend a little more and get something better.

Great value and works really well
Good quality camera system, easy to fit and the best image quality of any reverse camera I’ve fitted so far. Fitted to a tractor and trailer, even with a 20metre cable image quality is excellent and more than adequate to see what’s behind you. Two camera inputs are available with a trigger wire that can be connected to automatically switch input when vehicle put into reverse. All connectors feel well made and sturdy, both camera and screen appear to be reasonably well made, the camera bracket is very strong and durable. The weak point is the plastic bracket that holds the monitor and just sticks to the dash with adhesive. This is the only monitor fixing method supplied. I didn’t use this and ground down the heads of a couple of bolts to fit in the track on the back of the monitor and bolted on a RAM mount ball and then used their fixings to hold it securely to the cab. Great kit, the supplied monitor bracket may be strong enough for your needs but a simple stronger fixing can easily be made up, definitely recommended.

You will not regret this purchase, great value for all you get.
Great camera, great package deal, good clear and crisp screen. did not need it as a backup camera, I just needed a display and the camera was a bonus.

I’ve tried a few different ones and this is by far the best!
I use these as a rear view monitor when towing our caravan. In the past I’ve had a wireless one and a lesser quality wired one. The wireless one was very problematic, frequently loosing the signal and usually at the worst possible time. My previous wired one worked well but the image was poor though adequate. The image and functionality of this one is far superior to anything else that I have used, though twice the price. It’s a decent quality product. The nuisance of a wired one means running a cable through the car and connecting to the cable of the caravan. Then you have to protect it from being damaged by the tailgate door. When you drop the caravan, you have to remember to disconnect it before driving away. I forgot to disconnect my old one, hence having to buy this one while we were away. Having said all of that, I still think this is the best way of doing it.

Easy to install
I installed this on my 30 ft Camper trailer and it works very well. I permanently installed the cable on the camper and each time I use it, I unwind the cable and hook it up temporarily to the truck. I did this to keep the cable intact and maintain a good signal. I soldered a male connector to the power source, and plug it in to the 12 volt power source in the truck, and I place the screen on the dash. If I change vehicles I can take the screen and hookup with me. Very good color and easy to adjust. A real stress reliever when backing into camp spots. A recommended product!
