My husband loves this Aveda Smooth Infusion shampoo. Sometimes it is hard to find on Amazon. This was a good price compared to other offerings. It took a few extra days to get here but it came wrapped nicely so there was no leaking. 5 stars for the fair price and the care in wrapping so the product would not seep out.

Just what I expected. Came quickly

I have salt and pepper hair, often gets fuzzy and curly. This shampoo really helps it not get so fuzzy and makes it very soft. I love it.

I am so very sad to have to write this review about a product that I have loved for YEARS. I swore by this product line, I get numerous compliments about my hair and I would always recommend it. Not any more. I had to buy the new formula and am so unhappy with it I am now shopping for a new product. I don't even know where to begin with this. First off and most importantly, I no longer get the smooth, frizz-free results that I have always gotten. Its consistency is thin, much thinner than the old formula. I have long, thick, wavy hair. I now have to use twice as much product - from a bottle that is more expensive and smaller than the previous formula. The first time I used it, I poured a small amount into my hand and then, as usual, started at the crown of my head, worked it in, then dipped my head into the shower stream to work up that luxurious lather that I'm used to. No go. It instantly felt different, it was kinda waxy, and was impossible to completely rinse out of my hair. I even checked the bottle to make sure I didn't use conditioner by mistake. And, here's the absolute worst part - IT LEAVES HEAVY PRODUCT ON YOUR HAIR! It's shampoo, it's supposed to leave it clean - it does NOT! I've used this for a few weeks now and have finally figured out that you cannot put the shampoo directly onto the top of your head - it'll leave a big greasy spot no matter how much you rinse. I instead have to work it in from the bottom, which is stupid and takes twice as much shampoo. I also have to wash my hair more often and have had to stop using my Style Prep Smoother because it just puts too much product onto my hair and leaves it feeling awful. So now I'm left with a more expensive, smaller bottle of shampoo that leaves my hair feeling yucky and I have to use twice as much, twice as often AND it does not deliver the great results that the old formula did. Shame on you Aveda!!! Bring back the old formula because this one is garbage.

I like how this product is gentle on my hair and find just a couple of dabs makes my scalp and hair feel really clean. I use it with conditioner too. I finish by blowing dry my hair with a minimum of styling gel, frizz all gone.

SHAMPOO LEAVES HAIR WITH NO FLYAWAYS

This is a wonderful product from Aveda. Like many of their products it is expensive to use. Mine came in a bag with the lid partially unscrewed. Shampoo on the inside of the bag and all over the bottle. I won’t buy it from Amazon again but I will definitely buy the shampoo from a local Aveda salon.
