Soil Vigor(tm) are Co-Polymer moisture crystals are a super absorbent material that help keep soils moist and loose in a container garden. They are easy to use, either for a new container or even an established garden. If filling a new container garden, use the label amount; Somewhere around 2 teaspoons per gallon of potting mix. The crystals will break down after 7 years, into nitrogen, carbon dioxide and water. For established gardens or containers; use pre-soaked or best absorption and results. Simply mix Soil Vigor with water in a suitable sized container until Soil Vigor resembles cubes of Jel-lo. For established beds; mix into the top 6" of soil. For Herb gardens, incorporate soil Vigor at the root level or at the bottom of herb's hole or plug. This will focus a moist area directly to the roots, while absorbing any excess water that might build up and cause the roots to decay. The hydro-gel releases 95% of its stored water to growing plants. Increased water supply enhances germination and reduces the relative water loss by evaporation and drainage. It is neutral in pH and is non-toxic. It is a safe, non-toxic polymer used in all types watering enhanced applications indoors/outdoors.
