Great performance if used correctly
Tried this out for my Shield TV in order to run Steam Link smoothly without running a wire. The first thing to know is that this thing is very finicky for positioning. This is largely due to the 6GHz frequency. If you get a good link with this you'll have very good performance and excellent latency for a wireless connection. The trade-off is that 6GHz has a lower effective range and is much more affected by solid objects in the signal path.Case in point: I had the router-side unit on a set of shelves (with most of the network hardware). This was on the second shelf and the shelf below had a couple other devices on it.The living room/den is immediately below the above-mentioned room. The client-side unit plugs into my Nvidia Shield box, also on a small TV stand/shelf. Set up this way, performance was good but I had occasional dropouts on Steam Link. (The two rooms are right above one another, and they are almost vertically aligned). This turned out the be curable by moving the router-side unit to the bottom shelf in that room, and moving the client-side unit from the shelf to the top of the TV stand, right behind the TV.The dropouts went away completely and now Steam Link works flawlessly. It is minutely more latency than a wired link, and noticeably better than using 5Hz Wi-Fi. But that just goes to show how finicky the 6GHz band is when it comes to physical interference with the signal. Mileage may definitely vary. This is definitely something to consider if in a similar use case to mine: An adjacent room, where a reliable low-latency link is needed, but an Ethernet run or even MoCa are not practicable. (My landlord will not let me install a MoCa filter, so I cannot use MoCa, and the way this place is wired is not conducive to a PowerLine type arrangement (though I have never found that to be ideal in this use case).I don't like that this wants a cloud sign-in but that's par for the course these days- at least it's not mandatory. The blue light on the front turns red when it lacks an Internet connection. While it phoning home to check that is kind of meh to me, it's kind of nice to have that up-or-down light. The light can also be disabled. I have the client-side unit's light disabled, but the router-side unit I leave on as it's a nice way to quickly know I have to yell at my cable company again.Price is steep for what it does, especially since you can get a 2.5G MoCa kit for half of the price which would absolutely perform better. But if that's out of the question, as was the case for me, this is a great option so long as you understand and work around the inherent limitations of the 6Ghz band.

Works well
Wasn’t expecting much. Live in a rv on property with WiFi router. Game a lot, and was having connectivity problems. After receiving this, it tripled the speed on connection and connects and downloads as fast as if my PS5 was connected directly to the router.

Amazing Speed!
I use Verizon 5G internet because it is inexpensive…however it is painfully slow. I am a video editor and am required to do a lot of uploading and downloading. This product has accelerated my speed by 10x plus and was so easy to connect. So worth it

Insane boost in SPEED
I'm a full time gamer and this product really boosted my speeds all around. Games I had a hard time running before work so smoothly now. Setup was a breeze and it arrived so fast. This is a need for a gaming setup!

Garbage
Did not work and 5 hours of tech support did not resolve the issues. Do not buy. Save yourself the hassle.

Works as advertised. Blazingly Fast
I purchased this product as I was having issues getting good WIFI using my Netgear 630e Access Points. Coverage is great right up until that room, and then it drops to zero. I hooked up the source device to a 2.5 Ghz Moca adapter two rooms away and the target Surfboard in the other room, and I get 1.5 Gb/sec from the LAN connection. Ping is consistent as well which is great. What is interesting is every Moca based device averages a ping of about 3 to 5 ms. from my hardwired 2.5Gb/sec LAN, but the Surfboard master unit is able to respond with a latency at less than half that. So I don't know if there is network optimization happening with the Surfboard, but again, it's pretty impressive what you get. The latency will still not be what you get from a good hard wired connection, but if you are suffering connecting legacy WIFI devices with good performance, give this solution a try.

Meh Download Results
I purchased the W6B to improve my Download speed in my home office. I currently have 1Gig fiber service, and consistently get 950 at the modem. I am using a 2.5 MoCA to get closer to my office (and get same speed as direct from Modem when ethernet connected to MoCa), and connect the main W6B access point to the moca via ethernet. The main access point is one room over, so I realize there is a wall separating W6B Satellite and Main access point. With that said, the signal is -46dbm and getting consistent upload speed (~900Mbps), but only getting on avg. ~300Mbps (fluctuating between 250 and 350) download.I was previously using the same configuration with 2 satellite nodes in my AC5 Mesh system and was averaging ~250Mbps down, so I have seen a little improvement. I have tried switching channels and even the channel width, but it seems current setting was the best per my trials. Also, I moved the satellite to within about 10 feet of the main AP to see if speed would improve, but unfortunately even that didn't make a difference.Unfortunately, think this is going to be returned. I have already reached out to tech support and they just said to try changing the channel, which initially helped a little.
