If you keep the filters in and cleaned the motor will last for years. I just bought my third one and I'm waiting on it's arrival. The second just stopped working about 4 days ago. When I say stopped working I mean the motor stopped powering on it could just be a switch but they are so cheap and I have used it for 3 or 4 years I'm not going to waste a second trying to fix it.
