Review: Lighter, quieter, better grip - If you have 26x4" fatbike tires that are running out of tread, and you mostly ride on the street, these are pretty great tires. Pros: Way, way quieter than the knobby Kendas that came on my ebike. Way lighter, too. I get about 2 mph higher top speed, and better range. Much better grip on the street than knobbies. Cons: Expensive. In theory, thinner tread means greater risk of punctures. I was paranoid at first, so I avoided every twig and branch. So far, the only thing that gave me a puncture was a nail I couldn't see at night. But I doubt the Kendas would have survived either. Overall: Would buy again.
Review: So far, so good. - Changed out my off-road type tires on my e-bike. Had 1000 miles on them and the rear were going bald. Bought these for the idea of being more “streetable” since I commute along a riverbed and streets. So far, considerably quieter and a smoother ride. Even raised the speed I travel by approximately 1 mph. If these last 1000 miles as well, I’ll be buying them again. So far I have 150 miles on them.
