Worked good one time on my 525 chain..then the point on the Allen bolt failed and stripped the housing out.dont recommend for street bike chains

I just used it for the first time I have a 525 for my gsxr it worked great. I used ratchet instead of their Allen wrench. Easier to hold. Great price very strong!

Good tool, but a bit more fiddly than I expected.This tool did not bend or break under pressure, which really surprised me.Though it gets the job done, there's got to be something better available.

Super simple and very effective

This works really well. Can also pop a link after you grind the rivets off.

Does not fit a 530 chain. I had an RK Max X 530 chain and surprise surprise it does not fit. Overall construction is actually pretty impressive, but it doesn't do any good if it doesn't fit my chain. I will be able to modify it to work, but I shouldn't have to modify something that is marketed as compatible out of the box. If it was about a 12th of an inch wider it would be fine. If you have a 525 or less, I would say this is definitely your go-to. If you have an angle grinder and a 530, then go nuts. Like I said, the overall craftsmanship is actually pretty impressive.
