Isn't L-ascorbate synthtically derived? By using the word natural before it doesnt make it organic!

Actually a quick google search tells me that l ascorbate can be derived from natural (fruit and vegetable) or synthetic sources. That being said, it needs to only have 10% of it derived naturally to be labeled natural, and that I couldn't speak to.

Here's the thing: "derived from" something natural doesn't make it natural. BEWARE! Let's face it, no space alien dropped ingredients from planet Mars. So, technically, everything on earth is "natural" (occurring in nature) but when it is "derived" it means something (sorbate) was extracted by not so natural means (perhaps synthetic solvents) and then other non-natural (aka synthetic chemicals) were added and you legally still can call it "natural". Intuitively, this bottle has bad vibes and why I clicked it to read more. A dead giveaway is the unnatural green color along with the font used. They're trying too hard IMHO to pass this as natural. Other users say it's not. So the source is, of course natural,  but the processing, what they do to it, what they add to it, could be anything but. Is the final product organic? I don't see that mention, just that they used organic cherries to begin with. When full disclosure is missing... well, I'm not saying it's not natural, I'm questioning it. More answers are needed. How is it “time-release“ when the capsule is only made from 1 ingredient?

The capsules go through a process called microencapsulation whereby we add an enteric coating to 50% of the vitamin C powder. That way half of the vitamin C is released immediately and the other half is released at a later time when the enteric-coated microcapsule reaches your intestines.
