I'm a very serious mountain biker and I'm very particular about my gear. The photochromatic lense was exactly what I was looking for, something that adjusted just enough while I was riding between sections of trail that aren't shaded but nice and clear under the the foliage. In upstate NY almost every trail is fully shaded so it's important to have a clear lense. I tried these for one ride and had to swap them mid ride because they put so much pressure on my head that it was giving me a headache. I couldn't quite get the nose piece adjusted where I wanted either so they never truly felt comfortable. I definitely would recommend these because of their build quality and price point but the fit just didn't work for me.
